WS Game Company Monopoly Luxe Maple Edition

My brother wanted this for Christmas so, alas, it was gifted! We got to play it 1x. Immediately you realize the game feels more upscale, more polished, and much sturdier. Even the quality of the money is noticable.All game pieces are like the original game. Except, there's a lot of wood being used.It's an expensive gameset. Not going to lie. It's a pretty one though - so if you cane endure the long gameplay AND PLAY BY THE RULES, you'll end up getting through it.Again, it's a beautiful piece. I'm thrilled to have bought it and he was thrilled to play it (despite how laborious it can take). I recommend this version! Great job!

Beautiful piece that goes well with my Mid Century Modern/Industrial home decor. Absolutely love the muted colors, the wooden hotels/houses are well made and such an upgrade from the bright colored plastic ones. Some sides of the dice didn’t have the “hole”, it was just painted which is kind of a bummer. And like someone else mentioned they give you a beautiful board with some cheap a.. money. So I replaced mine with a set of 1991 Franklin Mint Collectors Edition double sided money, which is imo the most beautiful of all Monopoly money.Bottom line: worth every dollar, specially if you are a big Monopoly fan. If not than it makes for a beautiful piece of decor. Definitely a conversation starter.

Everything looks great and pretty heavy. Inner plastic mold broken. Would be perfect if that inner mold was high quality also.

Wow! Can’t believe how nice and well constructed this Monopoly board is!! Very proud to own this as we are a dedicated family who loves to play. Best item I ever purchased!

This Monopoly set comes well packed and did arrive in perfect condition. Beautifully constructed from maple it should stand up to many years of use. The sliding drawer holds game parts that coordinate well with the board. The Bottom of the board is flat so I did put a 1inch circular felt pad under each corner to protect my dining room table. The set is made to become a true family heirloom.

The board itself is very well made but I was highly disappointed with the graphics on the board. The colors on the board are not very vibrant or bold so it's very difficult to see. Makes playing very difficult because of that.

Nice monopoly set that will last.Couple issues are that since the letters are printed in a shiny metallic color it is difficult to see them under direct light. The set is also a little too high as it has the drawer underneath; if you are sitting on a barstool you have to stand up to see the where to go.Other than that it’s a very good quality set. Constructed pretty well and heavy. The money and cards are a little better condition I think as well.

We bought this board to use as a wedding guest book. The black part of the board with the white pens worked perfectly. We love playing monopoly and this board is so nice. The drawers on the side are great. It's obviously a little pricey but if you play monopoly a lot it is worth it.
