I put these on around 8:30pm every night and they not only keep blue light out which lets melatonin in, but they darken everything so I get actually tired. they're large enough that they cover up all incoming light which is exactly what I need.

For over 30 (1986) years, I have used Blublockers in aviation and during daily encounters outdoors.Blublockers are tough and hold up well, but are prone to scratching if they fall from a shirt pocket.Another not mentioned attribute is that they fit over standard glasses or spectacles well, thereby allowing you put them on and off with ease. Blublockers do not add any appreciable weight to the users nose.Lastly, Blublockers DO help cute through haze, mist, and low visibility conditions when driving and especially when piloting aircraft.Now for the BAD –With some of the new LED lights on law enforcement cars, their blue LED lights can be hard to see. This only happens when certain LED lights has a specific blue light being emitted. So, please be careful when approaching law enforcement vehicles. The red and yellow spectrum are not effected.Lastly, I certainly would like it if Blublockers did not cost as much as they do. They used to be much less expensive, and one could purchase them from Walmat, Kmart and many other stores.

The frames fit very comfortably. The glasses appear to be well built. It certainly filters out the blue. I barely see the blue light on police cars although, you can see the white, amber or red lights of their light bars. So, you'll know it's law enforcement. Stop lights aren't a problem either. The green light can possibly display itself as a little dim but you can see it. Stop lights in different cities/states sometimes appear to be a different shade of green, sometimes. If the stop light is red or yellow/amber, you can see it better than usual with these Blublockers. Also, I found it valuable at night to keep the headlight glare much more comfortable whether it's oncoming traffic or in my outside rear view mirror. These high-intensity headlights are a nuisance in my outside rear view mirror at night but these Blublockers solved that problem. I purchased a pair of blue blockers several years ago and had hid them from myself. I really liked them. I've bought several pair of conventional sunglasses since then and was satisfied but I knew something was missing. Then, I found my old ones and put them on and realized they were the ones I needed so I bought these because my old ones were scratched so I use them for cutting grass and other chores.

These work well especially in rain or some overcast. I use them all day long but most affective in darker weather. Makes things very clear. Quality seems to me to be as good as the ones I use to by 20 years ago for $10 on sale. However, I think a better price would be $20 since we are talking about old technology and plastic frames. I guess you are paying for the name. I tried cheaper knockoffs but they do not work near as well as this. Also, I have a fairly large head and these fit perfectly. They seem more durable than bargain bin sunglasses.

Adds a vintage patina to the world, very cool. The only downside is they are more expensive than they used to be, at least twice the cost as when I bought them before, but no regrets.
