Excellent OD pedal
From warm, full, bluesy tones, to gut wrenching tube sounding power. This little pedal is superb and packs a punch.Feels solid too. Very well made. Robust feeling controls and switch. Highly recommend.

Sounds like a Timmy
This is a really nice 'clear' overdrive - sounds like you're pushing your amp into overdrive rather than changing the sound with a drive pedal. It's got quite a lot of gain on tap too - though obviously not enough to go metal.I can't tell too much of a difference between the clipping modes, just picked the one that sounded right to me and left it there.

Very dynamic and natural drive pedal
Great drive sounds - good tonal options with the clipping toggle. Can become nicely compressed for rhythm playing.Highly recommended

Great
Great transparent overdrive. Also listen to the Tumnus before buying but you can’t go wrong with either.

As good as a Paul Cochrane?
Yes, in short, it is; I can get this MXR to sound identical to my Paul Cochrane Timmy, but at less than half the price and less than half the board space! Definitely recommended....

Well built pedal
Very responsive controls. However I can’t properly rate the pedal as far as tone. I bought it to try and achieve better driven tone through the clean channels on my 1 watt Marshall anniversary amp and my Blackstar HTR 5 watt. However the sound wasn’t any better than what’s available on the overdrive channels if both amps. Probably due to the clean channels being pretty poor in the first place on both amps. Video evidence suggests it excels when played through a quality amp built for a clean sound and coloured with pedals

Sounds great but input and output jacks got an issue
Both input/output jacks don't hold cables well for some reason. You should google this issue before you buy as seems like many people having the same issue. It's really annoying as it's useless even though the sound is good it loses connection when you switch it on/off.
