Works exactly how it's supposed to - swimming lesson win!
So this is exactly what it says it is - a highly absorbent towel that is small, can be used over and over without washing in a washer, and is easy to use.I bring to my kids swimming lessons to dry their hair after showering. They both have long hair and it takes so much time out of drying it and considerable fewer screams about hair pulling. I just blot the hair on top, and gently wrap it around the hair in the back and it's all dry. I wring out the chamois after and put it back in it's container. I do rinse it out every few weeks, and there is no smell or problem. The only issue I had was that the container is a twist top and the top of the container cracked when we twisted it off (you'll see) so be really gentle when opening. The container is round but flat on one side, which is fantastic for putting it down on wet tables.Great product and good design, a must-have for swimmers!

Works for Art Teachers Too
I use these to wipe down the tables in my ceramics classroom. Another teacher told me about them, and they work so much better than sponges. Sponges tend to move the dirt and grime around. These do not. You just soak them with water and wipe the surface clean, rinse, roll back up and store in its container. No smell, and they worked well throughout the entire year.

Good but not great.
I ordered these for use at the pool this summer with the kids thinking it would be easier than bringing multiple large pool towels. While they do work to dry your skin quickly, they are very thin and don’t hold up when you rub them against your skin. For those who have more hair, they fall apart when rubbed against chest or leg hair. They are lightweight and easy to throw in a bag, so I still think they are worth it for something to use on the go. Also would be great to bring for a day at a water park or a swim meet.

Great for Travel, Camping, and More!
I love these things! My boyfriend had one we used to dry off while camping a few years back and I was amazed by how absorbent they are. I was using a large microfibre towel that added weight when it was wet and needed about an hour or more time in the sun to dry, but that’s nowhere near as efficient at these! I’m about to embark on another trip and I’ve just bought this as a replacement for my bulkier microfibre towel. I’ve seen some complaints about a chemical smell when first opening this towel, but I didn’t notice one even when I put it right up to my nose.Pros:Super absorbent! It’ll dry you, your hair, and your clothes. If it get saturated, just wring it out and keep drying. It also dries out and is ready to pack almost immediately. It’s small and lightweight, so it’s great for travelling when you need to bring your own towel or camping or pretty much any use you can think of.Cons:It’s small, so it’s not like the kind of towel you wrap around yourself at home. That’s no problem when I’m travelling because I usually need to dress immediately after I bathe anyway, but if that’s something you’re not willing to sacrifice this isn’t for you.Summary: This towel is great for travel. I’m a huge fan of how absorbent it is, how quick it dries, and how small it packs down.

Awesome product
Super absorbent material. Wring it out and it’s ready to dry you off again. I used to use these when I was a diver in high school. Now I toss it in my backpack for beach days, travel, and backpacking trips where I don’t want to carry a big heavy towel. Just do not leave it wet in the container for more than a day or it will start to get moldy. Hang it up to dry and it will harden in that shape. When I want to use it again, I wet it, wring it out, and pack it up in the container to take with me. Pretty sweet. 5/5

Squeezes out blue water...
I'm an ex-swimmer so I know how these work and used one for many years. Overall the quality seems fine and it has a nice softness to it that traditional shammies I've used didn't have. The only thing I was not a fan of was seeing blue water come out of it when wringing it dry. I suspect it'll eventually go away with enough wrings, but pretty gross.

Maybe I lucked out, but it didn't smell at all
Yeah, when I first opened this, it had a very very slight odor. But any product you buy will have some sort of smell. It kind of smelled like house paint, but it was so subtle. You have to literally shove your face in it to smell it.The smell completely went away after literally just one use.I use this for daily showering to reduce the need for laundering actual bathroom towels as often.I see people complaining that it's too small. What are you possibly doing that this is too small for? When it becomes too saturated, you wring it out. What part of that do you not comprehend? This little towel was absorbent enough to (for the most part) dry off my clothes when I went swimming in a lake with jeans and a shirt. We also have a big dog, and this was able to dry her off after giving her a bath (which usually takes 2 to 3 regular towels). You could soak up a lake with one of these if you had enough time.I'm going to buy a couple more of these, because they are so versatile and handy.
