Are these available in the size of an old style 30oz large Folgers can?

We currently don't have the larger size. Part of the issue is limitations on Amazon retail. Amazon will treat any item larger than 8 inch diameter as oversize and so the fees they charge would make a larger item like that prohibitive ... Becky for Cornucopia Brands

Can these cans be used for bacon grease?

Yes, they are a steel coffee can not plastic.

Several questions, how do you get the bread out? what lip needs to be removed? recipe? maximum amount of flour? will the cans have a long life? thanks

There is a lip just inside the can that is easily removed with a can opener. You will need to remove it to dump your bread. I use shortening to grease my cans. You need to let the bread cool a bit before dumping. Google "coffee can breads" for recipes. Trial and error. Some work better than others. Can't answer the other questions, sorry.
