Reviewed my package promptly and it was a nice product but ended up being a little to small for my application. Would definitely purchase from seller again though.

This mount appears strong and well made. And it locks in the closed position as advertised. Unfortunately, when it is in its compressed (closed) position it measures nearly 3" deep from the wall to the TV's mounting surface. This dimension is not mentioned in the ad copy, or I must've missed it. In either event, the dimension was not acceptable for my application and so I returned the unit.

I've installed these in two used motorhomes now. Both of my rigs have had old fashion box TV's in them when I purchased them and one of the first things I did was replace the TV's with flatscreens. The lock on this mount keeps them from flying around while you drive down the road. It's a must have. Don't try to use one designed for a home.If you have a camper/RV, the nice thing about replacing your old box TV's with mounted flatscreens is this you pick up additional storage where the TV used to sit.This size was perfect for replacing our bedroom box set and I store towels and blankets where the TV used to be. I have a larger one for the front of my current rig and now store an inkjet printer/copier where that TV used to be.

This is a decent mount but it came in a box that looked like it was through a war. There was no hardware, and no pull chain.

When in the locked position two part of the metal collide and this puts a slight mark on the bracket. I found stowing the TV at an angle (which is better position anyway) this is avoided.The unit is sturdy and I don't see any reason that I would not leave the TV attached for travelling.

This mount locks - yes. It fails to mention that every other aspect of it moves. The fact that the arms and tv itself can move make it a useless and falsely advertised product. Also, the arm plate that drills into wall is completely level. The tv plate is not and this means it was improperly fabricated creating an enormous headache encountered after fabricating the support system only to find that the product is junk. Totally worthless mount for the RV.

This is the second one we've purchased and we couldn't be happier. We left the first one in our old camper when we upgraded and immediately bought another for the new truck camper. Despite the bumpy Alaskan roads, the TV is always secure when on the move and very easy to put back in place when we are packing up at the end of a trip. This is an absolute must for any camper.
