best choice
this product is simply great. Should be number one or two out of all the 10m (convert) radios out there. actually it should be number one. Based on my experience this is the top radio. Ranger has a longer range. the ranger 69vhp really easy perfect mix of features power and range. I been an amateur since I was a kid I work with these for 50 years and this is the best one yet and i am not even a truck driver - i did all the research this is the best I did the Road test. I did the range test. This is the best

Just because it's new and shiny doesn't mean!@#$..
I must have received the one defective one out of 1000 because it was totally screwed up right out of the box.

Had to have it opened up
You have to take it to a radio guy to be able to use your radio it only comes with one band available

Great radio packed with features.
Take it from a cb tech, this is the best all mode 10 11 12 meter radio on the marker. This board is the most stable through hole component all mode radio ranger has made. Great power and crystal clear audio. You will have to pay a tech for the conversion so check with your local cb shop to find out the cost.

If you have a Ham license you will have to unlock to get full potential.
Ham operators beware. Radio is designed to operate on 480 channels from 26mhz to 30mhz. Only 40 channels are available from the factory. Unlocking the band selector and high - low switch is easy but you will have to spend $100 for a realignment due to s 2.2khz shift per channel.

Doesn’t work on CB channels But Is a Great Radio
I had mine done by a professional Radio Repair to use CB Channels. Lesco on YouTube Love my Ranger.

Rather have my stryker
It is crystal clear not very loud, after I got it peaked and turned still not as loud as my stryker but I'm not giving up on it yet.

Plenty of power
Absolutely NO TALK BACK ECHO REVERB CONTROL.It is all internal and set at conversation.You can not change it easily yourself.
