It's vibrant!
I wanted to review because of the whole faded/not faded debate! I've attached photos, you can see when you first pull it out of the box it looks very faded. (I've weighted it down with glasses because it wanted to roll up on me.) Once you peel the paper backing off it reveals beautiful rich coloring! It looks great! It's a pretty sturdy but very flexible static-cling vinyl. Waterproof for sure. Pretty easy to work with. My 35 gallon tank was already set up and against the wall so I had to finagle it in there and I know I have some bubbles but you can't really tell through all the water. I included a before and after image so you could see the difference the backdrop makes. It looks a little faded on the back wall of my aquarium but that is probably heavily to do with the fact that I just added new sand and it's still a little foggy in there. This is the "Tropical" variation, for the record.

Very nice background!
This is a great background, much better than the kind you have to tape on or use adhesive. The image is very bright and clear.If you follow the instructions carefully, you will have a very nice result. Be sure to mist the back of the aquarium and the front of the cling with water. A credit card works very well as the squeegee. It also helps to mist the back of the cling, so the squeegee slides more easily. I also suggest running your hand over the cling to find the last few bubbles. That will find ones you might not see right away by eye.One note: the image you see when you first unroll the cling is the BACK of the image. What will be the front of the image is up against the white paper that you will peel off. The front is much brighter and more clear than the back. The instructions call the white paper "backing", but it is really "fronting".

Accurate Advertising
I actually bought this for my ball python! Reptile backgrounds can be expensive, and I was looking for cling vinyl. This works perfectly! It looks exactly like the product photos, and clings to the back of his terrarium, nicely. If/when this wears out, I'm sure I'll repurchase.

Turtle is Happy (or seems to be)
While my turtle's tank was being cleaned, I could move it out from the wall - giving me the space which i think is necessary to work the 'adhesion process.' With my bathroom squeegee, it took a very short time to ensure a bubble-free adhesion which is holding up 100%. The design I chose gives a nice pond-like environment for her; a shady place. Couldn't be happier - for her sake and for the look of it as well.

this is so easy ..right down my ally
Ten years ago I had a huge aquarium with a paper wall background and the only way to keep it on was with tape. And during water changes etc. It ended up looking like Crap and we were better off without it.Fast forward and you have this wonderful backgrounds that come in beautiful scenes to fit your taste and all you have to do is cut (they even put lines for measuring and cutting!!)mist with water put it on and run a credit card or something similar over it to get bubbles out..water doesn't phase it because of the material.this aquarium has made keeping fish a joy again with all the new improvements such as these backgrounds.highly recommend over any other.

This turned out great
I always have problems putting backgrounds on new aquariums. You have to figure out how to attach them, and you end up with tape on the glass. But this one is static cling and it just stays there. All you have to do is pat it down. My aquarium is backed up close to the wall on a small stand that needs to be replaced and not mobile. I was able to reach around well enough to place this and then the overhead filter was in the way. After some finagling I was able to lay this flat against the back and pat it down. It is firmly in place and looks beautiful. I highly recommend this product.

Vivid, Easy to Install!
These worked GREAT! I have several aquariums and I bought one for each. Super, super easy to install - the instructions were clear and easy to follow to get the best outcome. I love the designs and they are quite vivid.

Love this! Looks great in my bearded dragon tank! The colors are very vibrant once you remove the backing and adhere to the tank.
