Works fine, but not really 4GiB?
I installed this in a Lenovo ThinkServer TS140 70A4000HUX i3-4130 3.4GHz Server Desktop Computer . Installation was easy and quick and I didn't have to do any BIOS or software settings to start using it. Just snap in and reboot. My computer is now able to keep up with the video streams from 4 security cameras. However the package has a curious disclaimer that I didn't see on the Amazon page before purchasing:"Actual usable memory capacity may vary. 1GB equals 1 billion bytes."Originally computers measured their resources in powers of two, because computers are inherently working with powers of two all the time. So a KB was 1024 bytes, not 1000. A MB was a K times a K, and so on up the scale. Disk driver makers were the first to start being moderately deceptive to their customers by claiming more capacity than they really had. And anyway, you always have some disk space taken up by formatting and control structures. But memory, as far as I know, doesn't need to be formatted. Every last byte ought to be usable, unless it is defective. I suspect manufacturers have grown tired of tossing chips that just have a few small defects when the remainder is mostly good. So now this weasel-worded, post-purchase disclosure that you might not get quite everything you paid for.As near as I can tell I ended up with 4,135,731,200 bytes when 4 GiB is really 4,294,967,296 bytes -- about a 4% or two dollar reduction. Not a big deal, but I think the seller should be upfront about it.

Works great ib my Lenovo TS-140
This has been working great for me in my Lenovo TS-140. Now I can run my memory dual mode. This isn't the same brand as the stick that was in my machine, but I read somewhere Lenovo uses several vendors, so you might not be able to match it anyway (unless you already have the machine to compare, I bought mine online at the same time). Anyway, both sticks are the same specs and have been great. One day I may buy two more.

Good Quality Memory
Crucial is reliable usually. It is a bit early to tell if this particular chip is going to work over the long haul. However, it installed easily; the system found the memory. And no system errors. Installed in a Lenovo Thinkserver running Ubuntu 14.10

Recommended memory for Lenovo TS140 Thinkserver
Reviewers of the Lenovo TS140 Thnkserver recommended this Crucial 4GB Single DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11 Unbuffered ECC UDIMM 240-Pin 1.35V/1.5V Server Memory CT51272BD160B as compatible. It doesn't look the same as the 4GB memory card already in the Thinkserver; but I installed it.Insertion into the slot was difficult as it was tight; but eventually I worked it into place so the side tabs locked in.The machine booted without a problem and all functions show it is good memory.

Working great 4 months in
I purchased this to upgrade my Lenovo ThinkServer TS140 from 4GB to 8GB of RAM. It is more expensive than none error correcting ram but wanted to make sure it was compatible with my server. The Samsung stick that was already installed in the machine is significantly more expensive. Install took me less than 5 minutes. I confirmed that the extra 4 GB was available. 4 months later no issues.

Recommended for Lenovo TS140 and TS440 servers.
Works great on the lenovo TS140 and TS440 servers. I use lenovo TS140 servers as workstations for our office and becasue of the great price and build quality, the make a worthy investment. This extra memory pairs very well with those workstations and our TS440 backup server. Plug-and-play. Just drop it in, and turn on the machine. Works flawlesly
