Great jacket! Timberland tan? …read on!
I’m 5”9 185LBS,⬅️ (we listen and we don’t judge) originally ordered a Large. Received it, tried it on and it was HUGE! Sleeves were extremely long, the body of the jacket was super baggy, even with a sweatshirt on I still looked like a 5 year old trying on Grandpas suit jacket.I returned the Large, ordered a Medium and it fit perfect! (That’s what she said) Also fits nicely with a sweatshirt on. Certainly not the warmest jacket but does the job on those 50 degree days. Beats going back to your Ex to keep you warm on those chilly days. The zipper is a bit annoying to operate but that seems to be a thing with Carhartt jackets. Being that I own a few, they all have that same issue. Still it’s no where near as annoying as your boss saying “Good morning” on a Monday morning, before coffee.I really like the tan color of the jacket but just know, it’s not a perfect match to the Timberland tan, the jacket is a bit darker. So, if you’re looking for a jacket to perfectly match your Tim’s, this isn’t it unfortunately. But Damn does it still look nice when paired with the boots! Play on, playa! 😂Overall quality of the jacket is really nice, built to last long than your last relationship!

Great fit!
I bought this as a gift for my husband and he has been wearing it ever since! It is incredibly warm and looks fantastic on! This jacket is well worth the cost and seems to be great quality that will last him for years to come. The wash ability of this jacket is easy. I put it in the washer and gang to dry. I love that he can add a hood later if he chooses but that’s why he wanted this one specifically. His old jacket has a hood that’s very big and bulky so this one suits his likes much better. Great functionality as it can be dressed up or down!

True to size quality heavy jacket
Go true to size if you want it to be tailored, if you want to use a hoodie underneath you should definitely go up in size. I don't like slim fit, I usually wear regular, and this fita like a regular size. It's a heavy, very well made jacket. It's warm, but you could use it with a little bit of sun. It's not as crop and boxy as the vintage one, and don't have the patina, but the quality it's there, and you could make the patina yourself saving money on the process.

Best jacket ever.
The traditional Carhart jacket. Once these are broke in they are super comfortable. This is my second one. The first one I only use for work and is quite worn, faded and stained but it is so comfortable. It just doesn't look clean enough for anything other than work which is what these are made for. The new one is almost exactly like my old one with the exception of the pockets. Slightly bigger in the new one. Still very stiff after the first wash but it'll soften up. These are very durable. I prefer this style without the hood. My first one is over 10 years old.

(Almost) Perfect go anywhere do anything jacket
I've been wanting a Carhartt Detroit Jacket forever and after tons of research this has lived up to the hype. I'm 5' 11", slim athletic build at 160lbs, broad shoulders, long arms and the Large fits me perfectly. I do have somewhat freakishly long arms so for a more average build I can see the sleeves being a tad long. It's surprisingly warm, while being light and super comfortable due to the blanket lining. I can wear this over a heavy sweater with a scarf, or just over a tee shirt and it's great. It also looks amazing and I feel I can fit in just as well as on a job site, or out to a nice restaurant.I've knocked off a start because it collects lint like crazy. I have a Golden Doodle dog and in black this thing is starting to look as fuzzy as him. In retrospect brown might've been better for not showing lint, but the black just looks so damn cool.

Best coat ever!
Well if you know Carhartt then you know that these coats are literally the best thing going for a working man. The style is fantastic, goes with everything. Sizing is perfect. Blocks out wind, isn't overly bulky so that you can work. It's an expensive coat, but it'll last you five years or more.

Practical and Reliable Jacket
Height : 5’6”Weight: 156Size: MediumPros:- Blanket lining and insulated sleeves keep the user warm.- Duck material is durable. Blocks wind and light rain.- Able to attach hood (separate purchase).Cons:- Sleeves are a slightly long.- Because of the materials and emphasis on warmth and durability, the jacket is slightly stiff.Recommendation:- For similar heights, if you want to layer and have a slightly more comfy fit, choose medium. If not layering and want a better, tighter fit, choose small.

Great Classic
I am 76, 6'3" and about 260. I do workout and lift so no belly, but a larger chest. The 2XL fits like a glove. So far the quality seems quite high. It's not as stiff as I expected and that's good. Break in should be easy.
