Very clear sounding mic and no setup to worry about, its all plug and play. Caution, it is a HUGE mic and a bit heavy on the boom arm, but I honestly like it that way. It feels so robust.As far as using it in online gaming, I never had issues with buzz, hum, crackling, etc. My voice always comes through crystal clear. If you have a headset with a mic, disable the mic portion and switch to one of these and you will never look back. Seriously its that good. Don't waste $100-$400 on a "high quality" gaming headset when this will blow away all of those mics included with the gaming headsets.

This mic sounds great with nice warm tones. Being a condenser mic it is sensitive even if it says cardioid pattern. I can still pick up noises from the next room. My solution was to turn down the mic input to about 1/3 volume and make slight changes in Audacity.The only reason I give this mic a 4/5 and not 5/5 is due to latency. This is where the sound in the headphones is delayed by about 1/3 second. I tried several fixes for this and cannot completely overcome this. Too bad I like having the headphones on during recording. The only way it seems is to overcome this is to purchase a mixing board and use a headphone jack there. That however was another $100 with cables and I avoided spending that for now. If the use of headphones is a deal breaker for you but you still want a USB mic (to hook directly into your computer) look here on Amazon for a more expensive model with a headphone jack built into the mic. I saw these but did not understand the importance of it until now.Overall however I am VERY happy with this product and would recommend it as long as you understand the latency issue.BTW if you are looking at this mic verses the same mic without the "kit" remember that the pop filter is a large filter that cannot be bought here on Amazon for under $15. and it also fits the Zoom H2N which I also have, The kit is a good deal.

I bought this as my first Mic for Youtube/Twitch/ Voice OverI found it a bit Jarring out of the box, but warmed up to it once i started playing with Microsoft audio, the mic picks up my voice very well, it has very warm tones, and with a wind muffle and pop filter, the mic picks up my voice very well.I Use OBS and Microsoft sound properties to manage my levels and input, i found if obs doesnt peak and my microsoft pick up levels are at 88% and my hz are as high as i can get them, the mic sounds just as good as many professional mics, if mine broke, id probably buy another one.However the mesh cage can be dented easily, and i have had the mic fall out of the boom, onto the floor, break my desk mounts, this is a beefy mic, so be aware of that.

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely a great Mic! It is nice a heavy with a very sturdy build. I was actually surprised when I took it out of the box. I didn't want to spend $100+ on a mic that I'd be using twice a month so I needed a beginners mic for voice overs. This was perfect. It looks and feels very professional, my only complaint would be is that I wish it came with a black usb cable instead of white. The tripod is solid and would probably hold up a small car, the shock mount is also very well built. I am using this on my Windows 10 PC with Audacity to record.

it is good microphone, but it has NO support of 24-bit/96khz audio resolution!!It has standart 16bit/48khz resolution.Everything else was as described.

If the sound you are inputting is too loud, the sound quality of your recordings will not be great. But overall, Great first mic for starters.

As an amateur/recreational musician, I like to record music to share with my family. This microphone is easy to use and comes with awesome accessories! The quality is fantastic, and the professional appearance of the mic is great! My recordings sound awesome, and crystal clear! Fabulous purchase for the price- I feel like this was worth every penny! I love that it comes with a carrying case for the microphone. I would absolutely recommend this mic to anyone who is new to recording or anyone who just wants to have some fun recording music and get great, high quality results!
