I have used the previous version of the Liftlog for years. Simple easy format with plenty of room. Just because there are several lines for exercises doesn't mean they can't be use for anything else like resting heart rate, weight, diet, etc. As to the most negative reviewers comments motivation comes from within not from pictures or what someone tells you. The motivation has to be realistic. I guess if you get off on all kinds of fancy boxes to check off for how many reps you did this isn't the guide for you. It could be made better by the use of a more durable cover such as plastic. If you like flipping back and forth between pages to track your progress.

Just Do It
This is one of the very best and I have been using it for years to track cross training type workouts. The other books that focus more on just weights kinda suck. This one you can log the weight training but have plenty of space to log cardio exercises (running, treadmill, elliptical, etc.).

Best log book / planner for the weight room
The freedom to fill in your work out routine in your own style, make changes from day to day and the easy to use format, make this book tops in the world of workout log books. And, better than a "I have an ap for that", it never goes bad from being dropped or other mis-use and will be there next year when you do your yearly progress review....nice low tech solution that just plain works. Hope they go back into print.

LiftLog Review
This is the only log I use. It has plenty of pages and availability for months of logging. It also allows you to track your progress. I use it a bit differently than what it's intended, making it last a lot longer than intended, but it works wonderfully. When my log needs to be replaced from over usage, I replace it with another of these.

very good log that I use everday to track my progress in the gym. Its nothing special, just a log with plenty of room for entering exercises and has a pretty good section in the front for beginners looking for tips. It has enough room to write down your weight and reps from your last session and what you did for the day, very helpful to ensure you are making progress.

A very handy resource.
This helps you write down the goals that you never achieve so you can find it in the loft 15 years later and reminisce on how much you failed, both at training and at life. *sob*.

Prompt delivery. Book is functional as described. Lots of the information contained is superfluous to what is needed for an experienced gymrat!
