It was a gamble ordering this product as some reviews stated that it didn't work as described. So after I received this product, I fully tried out all the features to be sure it did work as described. I now understand why some people thought it might be defective - they didn't take the time to learn how to use it. There's a code to scan which will give you the users manual and it clearly explains how it works. It only takes a minute to read, but if you don't read it, you may not get all the functions on your own. Just read the manual. It works great!

So far so good! This kettle works well. I love the different temperature settings and the keep warm feature. I do wish it had a light showing that it’s on warm though. Really the only thing that’s a little disappointing is that it’s designed only for right handed people. The water level marks are only on one side so that will take some getting used to.

I am using it strictly to make tea for iced tea. Must read book for instructions to be accurate.

This is one perfect, hard working tea pot — at least that’s how I’m using it. It boils very fast (at highest setting) and all I do is drop in the supplied stainless emergervwith loose tea into the top of the pot and time the steep. Perfect tea. I do pour any leftover tea from breakfast into a clean pitcher for iced tea later. Keeps the pot from staining. Has a limited time (30 minutes) keep warm feature too.

Bought it as a birthday gift for a roommate. She loves it. It's a sturdy tea set, the tea-pot has some heft to it, as decent teapots should. The kettle is super fast, and has a really elegant design to it. It also makes plenty of boiling water for a decent amount of tea, enough for 4 cups, which it comes with. Coincidence?! Nah, just good planning.

This is my 2nd electric tea kettle. My 1st one, having been used nearly daily for a couple years is still going strong! I wanted this gorgeous blue though & when it went on sale for Prime Days, I grabbed it. Always good to have a back-up.
