After owning this bed for nearly two years, I tried a few other mattresses in a box and was just not happy with any of them.This bed is wonderful and I sleep like a baby every single night. I'm a thicc dude at 5'10, 220lbs and also a stomach and side sleeper and it's phenomenal. This bed is very firm, yet has a soft gel like squish at the very beginning when you lay in it. Your body sinks very, very slightly and then the bed holds strong. I don't find myself getting too hot in it either. I also don't get stuck trying to get out. I have not found any sinking spots yet.Once this thing "wears out" I'll be buying the same exact bed.

I spent over a year researching bed-in-box mattresses and this was the one I just kept coming back to because of the price for a hybrid King. I wanted a hybrid mattress that was at least 10 inches with a medium-firm feel. This fits the bill.Shipping time was the killer for me. I actually bought this mattress in August and waited two months for it to ship. Then when it finally did another two weeks passed before I had to get on the phone with ...Amazon, the shipping distributor, and then finally the shipping receiver to find my mattress. Apparently it became lost in transit, but I will say, Amazon was quick to replace and scheduled a new one to be delivered by the end of that week. My personal problem was that it was now arriving during a time that my fiancee would be gone for a work trip. I'm only 98 lbs and the box weighs as much as me. I ended up having to leave it in our living room against the wall for 3 weeks until he returned.Now it does say on the side of the box to open within 3 days. I was very nervous about this but my worry for nothing because it opened and expanded perfectly after sitting in a box for 3 weeks. Within 30 minutes it was practically full and we were trying it out. We did not sleep on it the first night but let it get that full 24 hours to expand. There were no odd smells from opening the bed.It's been 2 weeks or so since we started sleeping on this new bed. It is firm. I can feel the first foam layer and it molds to my body only slightly. I honestly don't like firm mattresses ... but my fiancee loves them so he really likes how firm this bed is. With that said I don't mind the firmness and have had some great nights of sleep. You could certainly buy a 2 or 3 inch memory foam cover for this bed and I think that would be good for those who want a little more cushion. Or get the 12 inch. I am definitely less sore waking up in the morning. Did not purchase a topper. It has such a nice cushy feel while still being firm. And it has kept that same feeling over the course of daily use this past year.The cooling feature does work! We live in Florida and during the summer we sweat a lot. I noticed a difference right away in that our sheets don't nearly need to be washed as often. We are staying cooler and sweating less. I don't necessarily feel that the mattress is cool but I know that it's keeping our body heat at a cooler temperature.There has been no indents and I haven't felt the need to flip the bed top to bottom. I am very happy with this hybrid mattress. So much so that I remembered to come back and update this review!

It’s really great for the price and also has acceptable edge support. It says that it’s medium firm but feels a bit more plush because of the memory foam. It’s great at cooling because of the copper thing though.If you’re a heavy sleeper like weigh more than 220 pounds like me go for a firm one, this one feels plush.

Very well made, durable seams, no odor. It's a bit firm with enough give to allow relaxed sleep without deforming your spine. Motion isolation aids deep sleep.Exceptional quality, and it is our *third purchase from Zinus.

I got the hybrid one because I don't like soft and bouncy ones. The spring itself is on the less bouncy side but the memory foam on the top is just a perfect balance and so comfortable.

I never actually laid on the first mattress, I received it 10/22 after being ordered 10/12 and returned it 10/23. A few days after I purchased Amazon dropped the price down several 3 digit numbers, so I tried to get an adjustment that wasn’t something they offer so I repurchased another one at the much lower price and had to wait several weeks to receive it. I unboxed at 12noon and when I returned home that evening it was definitely going towards the correct size. It was still a little bit firmer than I preferred but nothing like the mattress I’m replacing this one with, where any bone I lay on is sore for several weeks. This was a softer very firm. After a day I came home it was huge! I measured it to 12inch. I would say it’s a medium firm, it has a firmness with a soft feeling on your bones. I am 200lbs a side and stomach sleeper and I have felt great the last week of sleeping on this mattress. I was previously struggling with an extremely firm mattress and a super Cush topper, I still woke up daily in pain. Since sleeping on this mattress I am feeling much less pain daily. I’m thankful to have purchased this Zinus brand, and glad to have gotten a great deal on this site, it was worth the wait. I’m also thankful I didn’t experience any glass shards I plan to keep a mattress protector on and never remove the cover. It has worked for a decade on my previous pillow top mattress.

I was skeptical about buying my first bed-in-a-box as I'm accustomed to sleeping on fine bedding. But I'd had terrible experiences lately with expensive store-bought memory foam mattress sets and was desperate to find a more comfortable, lasting bed. I didn't want to spend another $3K to be sorely disappointed again, so I ordered this hybrid mattress, sight unseen, for under $200 here on Amazon. I placed it on top of the 14" metal platform frame I also bought here. This mattress does not require a foundation this way. I can honestly say I'm well-pleased. It is medium firm and perfect for a side-sleeper like me. It's a definite 5 stars, especially for the price.

The first couple nights it was uncomfortable I think because I had to get used to the new bed but it was so hard to find a mattress I trusted but this bed is so nice and I’m glad I got it! It helped to watch YouTube reviews! If you’re having a hard time trusting mattress listing this one is great!

Someone know how long time take to see it complete

The quality is great but I hurt so badly due to the fact that this mattress is so firm! No complaints about anything else. There wasn’t a smell. The mattress showed up in tact.

I find this bed very uncomfortable, it’s super hard. I haven’t had any issues back/neck wise but I just don’t look forward to getting into a bed that feels like a plank of wood.

Buyer beware, this item was delivered quick and as per instruction to open the package within 72hours and let it expand for 48hours... did all that and the mattress still did not expand to full size, some are 8 inches some areas are 9 and none expanded to full 10 inches.Please note this is a mattress in a box, so once you open it, it will be impossible to repackage by yourself.Called Amazon only to be told that I will need to "purchase a return package at a cost of $99" so I can return the item to amazon and was told by a supervisor to contact zinus instead, only for zinus to say to deal with amazon as its within the 30 day return policy! Called Amazon again and was told nothing they can do unless I pay for a return package! And they will not entertain anymore inquiry regarding this item unless I agree to pay for return packaging! Been a prime member for way too long, never had issues like this. Oh by the way, looks like amazon deleted previous reviews regarding same issue about this mattress.Always been a fan of zinus product but looks like this one is a miss hit.

I bought this mattress because it was a good sale, however, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again at full price. Great support, firm, but comfy at the same time. Best value I've found in a mattress.
