The media could not be loaded. These are an upgrade to the brass connectors we've had previously. We haven't been able to find more of the old ones. We got down to having to swap out connectors which defeats the purpose. I ordered 3 if the 6 packs so we'll have plenty.A perk is being able to use a thumb to push the collar to push the connector in. I love it.Anither perk is these are identical to the previous connectors internally. Mix and match! I can continue to use the previous connectors along with the new ones. Very much a pleasant surprise.As an overall review of the connectors are easy to connect t and disconnect, no leaks, and well built.100% recommended.

I started using these hose connectors this week. Mine are leak free and function just as I expected. I have about 75 grow bags to water each day and I was feeling very fatigued afterwards because the heavy duty hose seemed to pull my spray wand in the direction that did not want it to be. With thisvitem the spray wand auto corrects by spinning to right itself in my hand.I highly recommend!

I have three outside faucets at our house, and one hose to go around. Attaching the hose to the faucets is a bit of a chore, because we could never screw it tight enough that it doesn't leak water. My wife, in particular, has a hard time with this. This quick-connect/disconnect coupling was ideal for this situation.6 for $15 was a good deal. The couplings seem to be well made and feel solid overall. Installing was straight forward and the coupler halves connected and disconnected easily.However, I had one problem that someone here experienced as well. I read his review and quickly corrected the error. It turns out the rubber gasket/washer inside the half of the coupler that mounts to the faucet is reversed. What happens is if you have the couplers on your desk, it is easy enough to connect and disconnect. But if you were to mount the coupler onto a faucet, connecting the other coupler half is hard and you have to really force it deep in there to get the middle ring to engage and lock it in place.The rubber gasket as installed at the factory is installed backwards. There are two sides to the rubber washer - one side is flat, and the other side has a circular recess in the washer. The flat side should be facing the faucet that it is to be screwed into. The recessed side has the recess to allow the brass coupling to slide in. I used a small screwdriver to pull the washer out and reinstall it. After I did, it was very easy to connect and disconnect the two pieces.But other than that, this worked like it should.

Where have these been my past 40 years! Easy to use! (Okay they have probably been around but I never used them before)Having a fairly large yard, and disliking to constantly pull out and hook up multiple hoses to run water to pressure washer, or just spray off the pollen that seems attracted to the vehicles. These take away the arduous work of some of that, making it very simple to hook up to the house and equipment.No leaks, solid build construction. And a quarter of the price as the hardware stores.Happy with purchase. ( I have since purchased another set!)

Update: For the price, these work great. I ended up updating to some solid brass quick connects inside the house and they operate more smoothly. The problem I had with rusting were not these quick connectors, rather a crap shut off valve that got the deserved 1 star review. I have these still in use on my outdoor spigots and sprayers.Old reveiw: I called my buddy who is a plumber with what he called a 'fascinating question' of 'why would I have rust in my cold water line to my automatic dog water bowl and in isolation to only that line? He made sure I wasn't talking about the hot water from a water heater tank. He asked for pictures of the lines and valves. Well, when I took a look at these quick connect valves it was lined with rust on the inside. If it is the shut off valve directly up the line, which ought to be brass and a SS ball bearing, then I'll remove my negative review of this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love these! They make hooking and unhooking your hose so much easier and quicker. I mainly bought them for my pressure washer, but they help when winterizing the hoses and equipment! They are heavy duty and do not restrict water pressure.

These have been great quick connects. They haven't leaked between the connections. Good build quality over the plastic quick connects.Dumping my Harbor Freight quick connects for these that are much better.

They work ok but can seize to brass hose bibs. Use some grease and loosen it every few months.I have one I need to cut off.
