Philips Hue yet again demonstrates why they are THE premium smart lighting option. The speed, color consistency, and functionality is honestly still unmatched, and like all LED lights from Philips, they are extremely energy efficient. These smaller bulbs, while necessary for some fixtures, are notably hotter than the larger ones however, and I would take care not to place them in fully enclosed fixtures.As usual, the Philips Hue ecosystem is an absolute breeze to work with. Installation is guided, easy, and I've never had issues. Connectivity can range, based on YOUR preference from and exclusively local network, to fully internet controlled via Philip's own servers.

Not as bright as the regular bulbs, which means you need to buy more to light a room of equivalent size. The addition of the multiple colors is great. That being said, these lights are overpriced, especially considering that if you are trying to put them in a pendant or chandelier, you likely need more than one or two. For example, the chandelier that came with the apartment I'm renting is non-removable, and has over 15 e12 sockets; I've had to slowly fill it out with a mixer of the White Ambiance candles and four of these White & Color ambiance candles. It's been hundreds of dollars for just some lightbulbs, but ultimately I love the flexibility, ambiance and usability that Hue offers and that's what I use in my house, so I bought them. Just know what you are getting into financially.

Hue have the best color LEDs anywhere and these candle bulbs live up to Hue's lofty reputation and lofty prices.Color reproduction is better than any other bulbs and they're durable. The bulbs are not specifically rated for outdoor use, but I have bulbs still going strong after three years outside.

Phillips may be expensive but seem to be the best quality and most reliable smart light bulbs. Easy to use as well
