Must change out chips but works as described.

Wow I didn’t realize that I needed a Surgeon to help me change out the ink my over-priced poor performance printer. I have had SO many problems with HP ink. I’ve called for help and osama snackbar pretends he’s going to help and return every penny HP has charged me for sending me several ink cartridges that are incompatible with my printer... I'm talking over r $1,000 dollars 🤦‍♀️ taking every hp device we have and returning them today along with my piss-poor attitude because I needed these to help communicate with my healthcare team, my federal disability retirement personnel, and to the SSA.. 👎🏿 boo

I have a HP MFP M182NW, the chip is glued into the HP cartridge and has to be cut out, which then broke the old cartridge apart so I was stuck. The Instructions were not helpful, since the chip gold portions do not even look like that. I am headed to OfficeDepo, where I should have gone in the first place...that's what I get for tiring to save money.BTW, this was for my in laws....how to you expect someone with rheumatoid arthritis to do this?

I really wanted this to work because genuine hp toners are over $200 for my machine. I followed the directions exactly, but the hp black cartridge would not give up the chip. It seemed to be glued into the cartridge. These will not work unless you can transfer the chip. I will also add that the directions included with these make this look super easy, which isn't really the case.

*AMENDEDI purchased this product based on the good reviews. They were easy to swap out the chip and came with a nice little pair of pliers to clip them off and a pair of tweezers to help move them from old to new cartridges. I was having some issues with toner not sticking properly and they responded quickly and wanted to make things right. They were willing to replace or issue a refund for the purchase. I requested a new set and was told it’d take longer through their warehouse so they suggested I reorder from Amazon directly or send me a gift card. So I accepted the gift card. They prodded me DAILY to update my review to 4 or 5 stars and wouldn’t issue the card until I did.I just ran a cleaning cycle from using these after seeing some ghosting and stuff on the back of some prints and it was a total disaster, there was so munch GUNK that came out from using these! One print and they destroyed every print that came after them, I had to run several cleaning cycles to get all of it out! I HOPE it didn’t screw up my printer! I won’t be buying from this company again!

Worked perfectly. No issues and prints are excellent quality. Simple to change.

They work

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. These are not worth the money and effort to install. The black cartridge printed well for black and white text, but it only lasted 3 months. We did not print that many pages with it. For any pages with more coverage than text, the quality was streaky and the image would be duplicated on the page. The color cartridges have terrible print quality. They are streaky and echoes the images on the pages.In addition, the process to move the tiny chips to the cartridges requires surgeon hands. Then you have to make sure the little chips stay in place. I'm not going to mess with off-brand cartridges anymore.
