I purchased this to make a portable screen for my pico style projector. The white screen was clean and perfect and would be suitable for dimmer small projectors for when the image is projected on a larger screen, however the grey low gain screen that I intended to use with my bright 800 lumen projector had a curved 3-4 inch slice through the top grey layer in the bottom middle and a deformed bump on the middle left like something hard stretched the material from behind. It was packaged this way and was not shipping damage. Ignore the rainbow effect in the included photo as the projector I used was a DLP type. The image I posted is just to show the defects. The actual color of the image on the screen was consistent to the human eye. The grey screen would have been perfect for my intended use as it does help reject ambient light and improves the contrast/black levels when used close to the projector while muting the excessive brightness that happens when the image projected is much smaller is recommended. I have requested a replacement so I will update on the quality when that arrives. I know this is just a sample product, but I am surprised they would ship a defective representation of the screen material they sell. Doesn't really inspire confidence in buying a larger screen cut.

I believed that I was going to get two full sized ones because in the video it showed how big it was and then placing wood to do the sizing and things. Overall I would say this is false advertisement.

I ordered this sample and it contains 2 screen material: one white + one gray, and they are well packaged in a plastic tube.I don’t have an existing screen to compare with, so I just compared the samples with some material I have (A4 paper, wall, white cloth, white door). Figure 2 shows the original color of my testing material. And you can see the comparison of their performance in Figure 1 & 3, from LEFT to RIGHT: 1) white screen material; 2) A4 paper; 3) gray screen material; 4) white cloth; 5) white door, and the back ground is my "popular gray wall". I prefer the white one because it gives a sharper and bright view (note: I am using a EPSON home cinema 2250 projector). I’d like to mention that the screen material need to be handled with care and don’t fold it, otherwise you may get wrinkles (looks like permanent wrinkles).I think the samples are good and large, and allows one to test before making decision, so I am giving it a 4 star. Knocking off 1 start due to the fact that it is very easy to create wrinkles.

The three stars are really for the fact that it comes with a sample of both the white and the gray. The gray performed worse than a gray bed sheet I have. The white was pretty decent, but still not quite home theater grade.

I had expected a lot better reflectiveness from this sample, so ended up not getting their full size. It was convenient that they sell these samples though. It's no replacement for higher priced projecter screens unfortunately.
