I purchased the Café La Llave Espresso Ground Coffee, and it instantly reminded me of authentic Cuban coffee. It has a dark roast with a rich aroma that fills the kitchen the moment you open the can. The flavor is bold, strong, and truly captures the essence of Cuban espresso—slightly bitter, full-bodied, with a deep aromatic finish. It’s perfect for brewing in a moka pot or espresso machine, and when prepared with sugar it creates that signature cafecito foam loved in Cuban culture. I tried it in both traditional brewing and short espresso shots, and it kept its intensity in both cases. This is the kind of coffee that wakes you up and pairs perfectly after meals. 🔹 Pros: Authentic Cuban-style flavor. Strong, rich aroma. Consistent dark roast. The best coffee I’ve ever tried—bold, smooth, and better than expensive brands!
I honestly cannot believe I haven’t tried Cafe La Llave sooner. I decided to give it a shot because the price on Amazon was so good, and I am so glad I did. This is hands down the best coffee I have ever tasted, and that is a bold statement coming from me. I brew this in my Chefman CraftBrew espresso machine, and the results are incredible. The flavor is bold without being bitter at all. It tastes like a high-end café drink right at home. If you are looking for a deep, intense espresso flavor without the high price tag, this is it. Highly recommended!

You don’t need an expresso machine!
Delicious! I use this in my little 4 cup coffee maker, two scoops for one pot! It’s soooo good! I love a smooth rich strong coffee! It covers everything I need in my coffee! I’m looking forward to getting up in the mornings just for the coffee now! I’m something of a snob when it comes to coffee. My favorite treat is Starbucks but now I don’t need to make the trip!
