Love my icandy, stylish yet practical
Love my icandy, I chose this pushchair because it was stylish yet practical, it’s compatible with my car seat and it is with most, easily used as a travel system and comes with the required adapters which is helpful for new mums who have lots to buy. Took a bit of time getting used to folding it but that’s become like second nature now, would certainly recommend if you’re looking for a practical pushchair that is also incredibly stylish

A high quality pushchair
This comes in a pretty big and heavy box. It says +15kg. I think it may be a bit more than 15kg but it is also a bit awkward being so big.I was able to get the inner chair padding out with the box standing up and I started to check the padding and clasps. The padding seems perhaps a bit thin but I expect it doubles up against other bits and this may be more like a liner. The clasps have a central round button. This seems a bit too easy to release. Apart from that, first impressions are good and the material feels durable and hopefully resists spills! In the same bag is the carry cot. This has the main outer and white inner that zips onto the outer. This forms the base and walls of the cot and I’m guessing the mattress is separate somewhere. Around the walls is a super soft material with a huge label with small print on it. It looks like the label can probably be pulled off ok. Zipping the inner into the outer was fine and seems durable enough.I then took the rest out and realising how many parts there were I thought I’d better read the instructions, and yes. I had already made a mistake! The instructions are mostly clear but I did find one or two places where it took a bit of trial and error to get it right. It probably took me 1.5 hours to put it all together. The cot and seat share parts so you will need to take the cot apart to put the seat together. The manual also seems to go straight into assembling the car seat which didn’t come with the pushchair except for a couple of adapters. That was a bit confusing. It would be better if they made it clear that the section is optional.Again, without reading the manual it’s not immediately clear how to operate the push chair but once you know how, it’s pretty easy. The thing I found most surprising is that the angle of the chair/cot is released by a button at the end of the chair/cot, not anywhere near the pivot point!Overall, the pushchair seems of excellent quality with clear attention to detail and everything operates very smoothly. It feels very stable and sturdy without being overly heavy. This is a pricey pushchair but when you consider how often you’ll use it and how important it is and that it should last well and possibly have good resale value I think it’s worth it.

Amazing isn't enough to give this justice
The very first moment you unpack this pushchair, you would understand that it is built to last for years. It is heavy, I mean really heavy. People should be cautious when handling the box as it is more than 15KG in weight and can hurt your back. Everything is well packed inside which adds to the safety of the core components during shipping. This is the phantom grey iCandy Peach pushchair. The peach variant isn't new and is in the market for a couple of years. In case you are not familiar with pushchairs I would suggest fooling this variant or watching videos during assembly to make sure you do things right. Assembly takes a bit of time but once fully fitted, moving the pushchair around or collapsing it for transportation would get easier. The pushchair packs a lovely, sturdy, wide, and well-designed carrycot. iCandy claims this to be suitable as a permanent mattress. The liner is removable and can be washed when needed. The mattress seemed to be comfortable when we touched it during assembly. What I like most about this pushchair is how portable it can get. Even wheels can be dismantled. This also adds to reparability in case a little piece breaks down.Considering that this would accommodate a child until they are 25kg, it would last for very long time and would prove useful for considerable period. The lower basket that is placed below the unit could be useful as a shopping basket. It can accommodate a lot of items and it is definitely handy. In sum, I would definitely recommend this. We got this for a newborn and we still didn't use it extensively. I will update this in the future if I encounter any issues or discover new features.

So dissapointed
The wrong colour was sent to me, and not only could we not put the pram together due to a faulty part, we also couldn’t dismantle it properly to send it back!

We dont have kids
So asked someone else to review this for us. In short, they highlighted great quality - (bung in the boot solid), practical (not too hard to put up), sensible pockets and areas to put stuff (one-handed baby holding is possible), and design - it looks good and is lightweight. The price is comparable to others and about mid-range from what we can see - and our friends would be happy to purchase this pushchair at the same price again. So good value, good quality, and the good news we had someone with a baby nearby...
