Having paid less than 40 USD, I didn't expect much. I just wanted something decently made and functional, so I figured that's all it would be and I was fine with that. BOY WAS I WRONG. Everything about this box is LUSH. It looks and feels beautiful, inside and out, and it is so easy to use and enjoy. Fast ship in its own sturdy heavy cardboard box (kinda like a very large Caudalie order but better) and carefully wrapped, including an authentication card. The quality is BEYOND what I paid for this. Neat stitching, fast closure, sturdy but not too heavy to lift or use, thoughtfully designed compartments, functional layout, and it includes a terrific mirror for dressing. This jewelry box houses far more than I thought it would -- both a large and small train case worth of jewelry, plus two flat wooden boxes worth of treasures -- and I AM SO IMPRESSED. How have I never heard of Glenor before? This is a good brand! And what else do they make? Because I need organizing and I don't want to sacrifice style or quality, so I'm going to look at what else they sell now. Great purchase, 100% recommend.

I bought both this box and the small version. The small box is good and the general construction of the large box is good with the exceptions:1. The buckle snap is not aligned properly (about 1/8" off center) so it CAN NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. When the snap is pushed into the closure, the whole buckle strip is slanted (see photo). This box should have not pass the inspection of the product. I'm not happy with this purchase!2. The film covering the mirror could not be removed without leaving some tearing along the edges.The small box I bought at the same time does not have these problems.This is an update of the product made on 5/16/2018:Initially I gave the box a one star because of the above problems, and did not want to bother to return the box for a replacement. However, a few days after the purchase, Emily of RG City contacted me about the product. When she heard my complaints about the box, Emily immediately took responsibility by offering an replacement. The new box is perfect and now I am very happy with the purchase.

I was very impressed with this jewelry box. The packaging was great. Foam pieces to protect the mirror, lined with paper on the outside of the box. Beautifully wrapped and inside a sturdy box really made a great looking gift. The quality is really top notch. No uneven seams. No stray threads on the stitching either. Protective film on the mirror and on the buckle on the front. The tray inside is really good quality. No lifting felt or seams. Very impressed. Would highly recommend this jewelry box. They even included a card inside from the company in an envelope. After getting the jewelry box and seeing the quality, I am surprised at the price. Definitely a 60 - 75 dollar item. Very impressed.

I am so pleased with this purchase.First, it comes packed in a lovely, but sturdy box. If you give it as a gift, the box under the wrapping paper is very nice. The box was snug and I was concerned about getting the jewelry case out, but when the lid was removed, one side hinged down so I could slide the jewelry case out easily.Second, the look is simple, yet elegant and I'm glad I read the reviews and chose the black case. It looks elegant. The clasp is lovely and unobtrusive.Third, the compartments are ample. I easily added several sets of pearls, gold & silver rope necklaces, several bangles, lots of earrings. And, still had room for my not-so-precious jewelry.Fourth, the top compartment seats easily and snugly with lots of room to close the lid.Read the reviews carefully. Although I have several bangles 1/2" thickness, this is not for wide cuff-style bracelets.This has a simple, uncluttered look on my dresser. I would not hesitate to give this as a gift. It is lovely enough for a woman and sedate enough for a man as well.

Shipping was done very well; it came very carefully packaged to ensure there was no damage. Just to note, on arrival it had a kind of strong chemical smell, so I just left it open and kept the tiers separated for about 24 hours to dispel the smell. With the smell gone, I filled it up. I feel like I would have liked it more if it didn't have the 12 small slots and instead had another 3 bracelet-sized slots or another 2 long slots, but that has more to do with what kind of jewelry I own and thus my personal needs for space than anything else.Outside of the interior functionality, I can also state that the outside of the case is sleek and visually appealing. This is actually a case I don't mind leaving on a shelf in my room to act decorative, instead of hiding it in the closet. I find that when I have easier access to my jewelry, I'm more likely to actually wear any of it, so this is a definite advantage in my opinion. Overall, it's a good case. I'm happy with it and it's been working well for me.

I must admit that despite the wonderful reviews, I was just a little skeptical about purchasing yet another particular jewelry box. I have other jewelry boxes however over time they just seemed so inadequate and lackluster that I found myself just tossing in earrings and bracelets into them and sticking the boxes back into my closet. I decided to order this jewelry box because the reviews were so good. The package arrived on time (no surprises there) but when I opened the beautiful black box with the GLENOR CO wording, it felt like I had sent a gift to myself! I took the jewelry box out of the black packing box and opened it carefully. The box was very well wrapped for shipping. The look and feel of the box itself was wonderful--even the clasp is very nice! The "Thank You" note from the Glenor Co was classy! The compartments are perfect for my earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I love the satin ribbons and the mirror is a great feature. I have no doubt that I will enjoy this purchase, I am planning to buy more of these for my Mom and my sisters as birthday gifts! This jewelry box is so elegant that it will be the feature piece on my dresser!
