Scosche Retractable Lightning Cable, White (I2BOXWT)

Scosche isn't the first name that comes to mind when I think quality cables for my iThings. But this product so far ( about 40 days in) is working pretty well. I use it a couple times a week with my lifeproof cases on iPhone and the Apple leather case for iPhone. Works fine with both and although the plug may LOOK big - it's a perfect fit.Construction of the unit overall is good. The retract is smooth and predictable, the cables glide in and out with no problems and the plugs are also pretty solid. My only concern is the lack of strain relief on the connectors themselves. In order to make this all fold together though, I can understand why they went without. Long term we will see.If you want a retractable cable that packs into a portable rectangle and works with all your cases though - this is it.

Usefull for trips, and carry On the go

In general, I've been pretty happy with Scosche products and expected the same with this cable.I keep in my briefcase and use it when traveling so it's been used about a dozen times.The problem is that where the cable joins the lightening connector and USB connector starts to come apart after a while. I'm guessing that the wires are starting to come apart inside.I just returned from a business trip and this was the only lightning cable I took with me. I actually had to hold the cable in place for an hour so I could charge my iPhone.Can't recommend until they make the cables more durable.

I bought a mophie but I don't like using the cable that came with my device because it gets tangled in your pocket so I found this retractable lightning cable and I just put this in my pocket and take it where ever I need too and it never gets tangled

The unit is my favourite lighting cable / charger, period. It takes the abuse of daily use, and still opens n closes. Still traits data and charges, quicker then my wall charger. It’d give it 5-STARS, but the price being asked for these is crazy. $35 plus ?!

Kabel und Rückholmechanismus funktionieren einwandfrei. Kompakte Maße - ca. wie eine Streichholzschachtel. Aber das Ding sieht leider billig aus. Eine Hälfte des Gehäuses ist weißes Billigplastik (Spielzeugoptik), die andere in einem häßlichen braun-grauen Ton, ebenso das Kabel.
