Concept Fruits Whole Roasted French Chestnuts - Peeled, Ready-to-eat, Steamed - Product of France - 14.8 oz Jar

I used these at Thanksgiving to stuff my turkey. I made a traditional sage and onion stuffing and then added the chopped chestnuts. They are sweet and have a lovely texture. They added a little French twist to the stuffing this year! I will definitely buy these again. You need to use them all in one sitting, as they will mould quite quickly if you store them, even in the fridge. I just took the extra chestnuts and pressed them into the cavity whole ... guests were ecstatic about them!! Highly recommended! A++++

I love French Chesnuts in my stuffing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Family recipe and it's just not the holidays with out them. Finding them in a store is next to impossible

I like to eat them right out of the jar or mix them into other foods such as: tuna fish, chicken dinner or chicken salad, very good for adding into hot meals as well. Also good to use to make chestnut stuffing- much easier then what I used to have to do (boil, peel and get the chestnut out. It took a long time.

I like these French chestnuts, but I find these very expensive. Thank goodness I only buy them for my dressing.

One of the jars had been opened and the chestnuts were spoiled and had to be discarded.

The chestnuts arrived very quickly. It has become increasingly more difficult to find fresh chestnuts in grocery stores so you have solved a problem for me. Thanksgiving would not be the same without chestnut stuffing for the turkey. I will certainly be ordering again.

I ordered 4 jars total of this wonderful brand of Whole Chestnuts: Roger Descours. Unfortunately, one jar had a popped (broken) safety seal and the top of the jar was completely off the jar. I will need to return that one jar.Cathy Stearns
