Works Great! Lightweight, Perfect for Traveling and Storing
I already am a huge fan of Dream Water's original product, even have had it as a subscribed order. So I was delighted when I had an opportunity to review their new sleep powder. I have always had trouble sleeping and even went to the point of have a terrible tolerance to certain sleep aid medications. Dream Water's products have been the only natural rescue to my sleeping trouble. I have tried replicating the ingredients in pill form, the 5 HTP, Melatonin, the GABA, however it just hasn't been the same as their Dream Water. I don't know what it is, it just works for me. I sleep through the night better, and I don't feel drowsy when I wake up.So this powder, let's start. You don't need to stir it in water, but that is an option for people if they wish. I just rip off the top, and pour the powder straight in my mouth. It tastes a little sweet, it honestly reminded me of taking pixie dust candy. The flavor might not be great for some, but I find it to be fine. I usually take 2 of the original dream waters, and I find myself doing great with taking 2 servings of this as well. (Without a need to increase even after using it extensively.)Extremely handy to take on the go! I can see this as being great for traveling via plane due to it not being a liquid, as well as being lighter in weight. A lot easier to have in my purse if I'm spending the night at a family member's home. The price currently for this product is also cheaper than the liquid, and works just as well in my opinion.I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I love this product so much, that I already have repurchased at full price and plan on continuing to do so.

Game changer for rotating shift workers!
I work rotating shifts weekly and find it hard to reset. I've always had a delayed circadian rhythm, and my schedule just exasperates it by having to snap between days and nights, again, weekly. Valerian root knocks me out but my sleep is restless and I have horrible dreams. Melatonin is good but my body gets used to it and I have to stop using it every so often. I have the bedtime routine, avoid screens after a certain point, use white noise, asmr, stretching/breathing, etc, but it is truly difficult when you never have enough time to let your body fall into a routine of the same time each night. This stuff spans the gap. The combination eases my reliance on melatonin alone, doesn't leave me groggy or restless, and is incredibly convenient. I use half of one on nights I struggle. I loved the taste at first, but now it is getting more sweet to me - still not bad and I love the ability to just eat it like a pixie stick - super convenient. It is a bit pricey IMO, but still a great buy.

Worked for a little bit
First I'll start with the positives. The flavor is really good even taking the powder straight. That's how I would take it and never had to mix it with water. It dissolves quickly and easily. They come in nice small packets that are great for traveling. I started taking them 30 min before bed and they would make me feel slightly drowsy but not super tired. Just enough to help fall asleep. I always wake up around 2-3am and have a hard time falling back to sleep. The hope was that these would help me sleep through the night or help me fall back to sleep. The initial 2 mos I took these, it did help with the night wakings. Sometimes I would take another packet during the night to help me fall asleep. I didn't wake up drowsy. After a couple months of taking these, I noticed they stopped working as well. Instead if needing to just take one packet before bed, I had to increase it to two packets in order for me to feel drowsy enough to fall asleep. Then I also noticed more night wakings and almost a racing heart during the night. I decided to stop taking them and I've been able to fall asleep better and go back to sleep easier during the night. Not sure if my body reacted to something in them or got too use to taking them.

My sister told me to try melatonin
I'm retired and don't keep to a strict schedule about bedtime or rising, so it isn't like I have any pressure to get a good night's sleep. Good thing, since I spent many nights not only unable to sleep, but feeling almost frantic with the boredom of having to lie in bed trying to sleep when I didn't feel sleepy. I would feel physically tired, but mentally awake. I have my own room and can play games and read on my Kindle Fire until my eyes and brain get tired, some nights I would still be awake when the sun came up. Other nights, I would lie there bored and restless wishing I could feel sleepy. I spent over a year functioning on about two hours of interrupted sleep a night. My sister told me to try melatonin. After reading the descriptions and reviews here on Amazon, I decided to try Dream Water Sleep Powder. The first night, nothing happened. Second night, I took two powders and within 20 minutes I found myself relaxing and feeling sleepy. The next night I went back to using only one powder. What I noticed is, when I wasn't taking this supplement, I dreaded bedtime and the endless nights, actually setting myself up for insomnia. When I take this sleep powder, I know I will start feeling relaxed and that makes bedtime less stressful for me. Maybe it's partly psychological and it doesn't work every night, I sometimes sleep for an hour and then lay awake, but most nights I get at least six hours of sleep, which is such a relief.I do wish it came in a bigger package, of say, 100 packs per box.
