Fantastic results!
I had received, as a college graduation present, a Coach bag from my father back in 1995. This was an unusual gesture from him; neither of us were at all extravagant. He had noticed me admiring the bag in a magazine. It was Graduation Week. “Go ahead and get that purse, if you want,” he growled (my dad was a bit of a grump, but his heart was soft as a kitten.) And- I did. I loved that bag. It was a bag from the Sonoma series. It looked like a little bowling bag, or a doctor’s satchel. It was extremely well made, and fit so much more than you thought it could. It’s one of the few really lavish things I have ever owned.Years later, my father passed away, and I decided to move. During the move, several boxes were lost. One of those boxes contained my precious Coach satchel. I mourned its loss, not because the purse itself was so special (though it was nice) but because my father had given it to me, and it always reminded me of him, and of a happier time in my life.I scanned eBay several times a week, looking for that bag. The very few of that style I could find were way out of my price range. I set up email alerts on eBay to notify me if bags from that series came up for sale. Months went by, and I completely forgot about looking for the handbag. One morning, as usual, I checked my eBay email alerts and- there was the bag. Not only was it the right color- black- but it was actually for sale at a price I could afford. I couldn’t believe it! I quickly logged on and purchased it.I felt like I had dreamt finding it. I couldn’t believe I had found the bag at such a great price. In the photos on the listing, it looked ok. Structurally, it appeared completely fine. That style of Coach bag was exceptionally well-made and very sturdy, so this was not a surprise. In the photos, I could see that some of the black finish had rubbed off along the seams and the bottom, and the bag looked a bit ashy in color. Nothing too drastic, but I could tell the bag would probably need some TLC.It finally arrived. The bag was basically in good shape, but the finish was indeed very faded, and the areas where the finish had rubbed away looked worse than they had in the photos. Luckily there were no tears or deep scuffs of any kind in the bag’s surface. I immediately consulted Amazon for a leather restoring product. I chose the Leather Hero Color Restorer because of the good reviews, and for its reasonable price point. I could only afford the Color Restorer at the time. I was worried it wouldn’t work by itself without an additional coating of treatment over it. Some reviewers had mentioned they treated their bag or jacket or couch, etc. with the Restorer only with nothing over it, and it had worked ok. I ordered the Color Restorer in Black.I also couldn’t afford the “official” leather cleaner from this company, so I used a very lightly dampened microfiber towel, and slowly wiped the entire surface of the bag in small, circular motions. Some dirt came off, so I waited for an hour for the bag to dry, and cleaned it again. At last- no dirt. A few hours later, again after the bag had dried completely, I was sitting at my covered work table. I put on gloves (be sure to do this- this stuff stains like crazy) and contemplated the small bottle of Color Restorer next to the bag. The bottle looked REALLY small, as in it was not going to be enough to treat the entire handbag. I shook up the Color Restorer, opened it, and carefully tilted some of the color out onto the handy enclosed applicator. The consistency of the black Restorer was very liquid. Was it going to be adequate to treat the bag? Was it going to be opaque enough? From the runny nature of the product, it appeared the bag would be needing several coats to get a good result. In case the product didn’t work out, I decided to try swatching it on a small area on the bottom of the bag first. The results were instant, and amazing. The finish on the old purse came right back to life. Just a tiny bit of the Color Restorer covered much more of the bag’s surface than I thought it would. The finish on the bag was changing before my eyes from drab and dull to a nice, opaque, rich black. The bag was seeming to drink in the Color Restorer.I was going to take before and after photos, but I was so anxious to try this stuff- then so overjoyed at the way it brought the old Coach bag back to life- that I forgot to take pictures. Suffice to say, my “new” Coach Sonoma satchel went from tired looking, to recapturing its original 90s glory! It was now a lovely, rich black, neither matte nor glossy. The leather just looked renewed. It was as if the bag WAS new.I hung the bag so air could circulate all the way around it, and left it to dry for 72 hours, as the label directed. (I’m pretty sure the bag was dry a few hours after the Color Restorer treatment, but I left it alone for the suggested amount of time.)I was worried that the single coating of the Color Restorer by itself was not going to be enough to adequately renew the bag’s surface and, to a degree, protect it. I carefully checked over the surface of the bag. It looked fine. It was restored, not just color-wise, but the finish also looked renewed. As the months have gone by, the bag’s surface has become a deep, burnished black. None of the color has rubbed off or faded. It even looks as if I polished the finish a bit, but I didn’t. The finish isn’t shiny exactly- it just looks rich, and vibrant.I still have 98% of the tiny little bottle of Color Restorer. I rinsed out the applicator, and have it and the Restorer in a ziplock bag in case I need them again. I have some other purses in my closet that I stopped using, as they had started to look pretty battered and faded. I am fully confident that, after one coat of the Color Restorer, these bags, as well as my old Doc Marten’s, will also be transformed, and look renewed.I HIGHLY recommend this product! It is *so* easy to use, and I didn’t use any other treatment over it and the bag looks great. This product's performance absolutely exceeded all expectations. I only needed a tiny little bit to achieve a beautiful transformation. It’s really nice to have my little satchel back. Every time I look at it, I think of my Dad, and smile. :)

Highly recommend!
This stuff is awesome! I thought I’d have to throw away my Tory Burch leather bag because it had faded and gotten awful looking! Instead of spending hundreds on a new bag I bought this stuff and it made it look BRAND NEW! Amazing and highly recommend for anything leather!

Easy to apply - but do be careful...
I purchased this paint for one purpose, and that was to repaint my rear bumper. A few months back, as of this writing, I was rear-ended, and I had to get a new bumper. Since mine was an older 2002 model, my search had to be confined to auto salvage yards. I finally got a half-way decent shape Ford rear truck bumper, which had a thick vinyl outside skin to it. The one I managed to find was discolored and had plenty of dings in it.When I ordered this particular leather and vinyl restorer paint, I found it easy to apply and, mind you, one little bottle (and they are very small bottles) barely covered one bumper. Luckily, I ordered two bottles, which allowed me to add two coats to the bumper. My particular color was gray, and it turned out superbly! Now, do be advised of the following:1. Look at this as purely an exterior paint product. It will chip off if something strikes it more than casually. So if something hits it, or a rock strikes it while driving (if you use it on a bumper), or you strike it with something else, the paint will chip. It is not absorbed into the vinyl or leather, and it remains just as an outer cover.2. Don't assume that this is a conditioning product - it is not. All it does it provide a nice cover, no matter how temporary it may be. I applied mine a few months ago and it is holding up well.3. Do not make the mistake of using a vinyl or leather conditioner lotion, of which there are many out there. When you do, the paint will dissolve and run - which I found out the hard way. After a few weeks after I painted the bumper, I applied a light coat of a vinyl conditioner crème, and it caused the paint to both dissolve and run. I had to wipe everything off, dry it off and buff it to the best of my ability, and then apply the paint again. So be careful of their advertised claim that this is a restorer product. But when painted, everything looked great.

Couch looks new
I bought this product in the dark brown color. When it first arrived, I cleaned the couch and applied it to the worn areas and was amazed how easy it was to use and how good it looked. A little goes a long way (I bought 4 oz and have at least 3 oz left.) However, the color was a little too milk chocolate for my darker sofa, so I ordered a small jar of black to mix together. The process was a little tricky because the color looks lighter when it is wet, so hard to gauge how much to add. After a bit of trial and error I got a finish that looks perfect. It dried quickly. After 3 days I will apply the top coat to seal it, but no color seems to run once it is dry. Of course I don't know how long it will last, but the sofa looks like new right now.

Great
Bought this for my leather bag whose color has faded. Worked like a magic. And it’s so easy to use!! The bottle seems small but it has more than enough. All in all, very happy with this.

It actually works!
It isn't very often these days that you can buy something that not only works as claimed but I'd say it's even better than that! My 5-year-old vinyl recliner was going from black to a blotchy looking brown and black. I was considering tossing it and buying a new one when I came across Hero Leather Color Restorer on Amazon. So, I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! My recliner looks new with no streaks and a nice solid black. The colour match couldn't be any better. The back and sides didn't need any restorer, but you can't tell the difference between the original finish and the restorer. Only took half a bottle, too!
