Sony KDS-60A3000 60in. BRAVIA SXRD TV Assembly with Original Bulb

I ordered this to replace the bulb in our TV, and decided to spend a little more than on other bulbs, hoping that it would last longer. It was in place just under 3 months, and the TV started flashing the lamp indicator light. I check out the area, and there are shiny specks everywhere on the TV stand and the carpet. When I opened the bulb compartment, I found that the bulb had shattered. Definitely disappointed in this bulb due to the unexpectedly short life of it and the possible risk from the little shards of glass and other material around our TV area.

We received the bulb in time as promised and worked perfectly. It was very easy to install. I recommend this seller.

I Purchased this item in June 2018 I did not install until July 2018 after viewing advisory notice on my TV screen (Bulb approaching end of life please change bulb) also the picture was getting dark. Once replaced with my newly purchased bulb, the advisory notice still alerted me that the bulb was nearing end of life and to replace same. (Picture was bright however) I'm concerned that this bulb is dying also. Also the item is listed on Amazon as an Original Phillips Bulb (Sony KDS-60A3000 60in. BRAVIA SXRD TV Assembly with Original Bulb) and the shipping box had a sticker indicating that it was a Phillips Bulb. Included in the packaging was a notice informing the purchaser of "How to Identify A Genuine Lamp from a fake one. 1. The Phillips stamp is clearly printed on the bulb. My bulb has no such printing any were on the bulb. 2.All Phillips Lamps have a sticker with a 2D Barcode and serial number. My Bulb dose not have that sticker. 3. All Phillips Lamp Burners have a 10 digit alphanumeric serial number engraved on them. Mine does not. $80.00 for a FAKE replacement? The one I purchased before in 10/16 didn't last 2 years however it did have want appeared to be an eligible ( 2D Barcode and serial number) affixed but no other authentication. Buyer Be Ware!!!It is now 11/20/19 four months after in stalling this bulb and it is dead!!!!!!

We had purchased a replacement bulb from another vendor but the brightness was not up to par. This bulb got the job done!

I am doubting this is a original equipment Sony bulb. Nothing, no paperwork in packaging to indicate originality. Broken piece of plastic in package, but was able to fit bulb. does not seem as bright as original. I paid premium price and doubt I got a premium product. Bulb has been installed for a month and is working, but don't seem as bright as it should be. I am doubtful it will last. I don't think ill order this bulb again.

Bulb seems authentic and brightness on bulb is way better than my old bulb. We will see how long it lasts but so far I’m happy with this bulb

Well here's the thing. This is original equipment. When I put it in the TV picture was like a new TV. But damnit that was only 3 months ago. So at this point not sure if it's a bulb problem or a TV problem. A lot is going to depend obviously how much you watch per day etc. We watch a lot of TV with all of our schedules but still 3 MONTHS?!

Old TV but works great when you have a good bulb. Tried the inexpensive bulbs but they don't last. Picture is great with new bulb! Back in business!

So far it is working as advertised. As I have "scrutinized" the product, I have noticed the bulb is connected to the wiring chassis with a very thin wire, almost a "filament". As a result, I am concerned about the longevity of this product. This is "leading me to believe", that while the bulb may be new, this is a repaired unit. NOTE: I could be wrong. This is not necessarily a bad thing as long as it works...well. For now, I am pleased. Again, it has only been a week or so. Delivery came from China and arrived on time.
