Lovely flute for kids
I needed a wood flute to go along with a child's story I wrote for my granddaughter. This wood flute was just perfect. The craftsmenship is incredible for the price!

It doesn’t play music
The flute is pretty and the engravings are pretty cool looking, but that is where it stops. I couldn’t make it play but one note. Putting your finger over the other holes made no difference. If you want something pretty, this is it; if you want something that plays music, this is not for you.

This is a nice 6-hole whistle
I wasn't expecting this handmade instrument to play so well. It plays almost the same as the factory-made lower-keyed Irish tin whistles. I use the exact same music and the same playing style as I do with my Irish tin whistles and the low whistles. I say that this "Indian Glance Traditional Wooden Flute" from India is appropriate for any age. I could have learned on this handmade 6-hole flute instead of on the Irish Tin Whistles manufactured in a factory. You use the breath control as you do for the low whistles. This is a satisfactory purchase and I will enjoy playing it for many years. If you play professionally, then you want the ones made in the factory.

Great looking but only one really worked
I purchased these for my kids (one is 3 and one is 11). The one for my 3 year old didn't fully work. U could blow into it (which was fine with her) but the other sound holes didn't work. The other works, just takes a little harder breath. Doesn't sound too bad. I would've sent 'em back but my kids are happy. They look beautiful. The carving are great. For the price it's okay.

Plays well
It sounds good and looks pretty. My daughter complains about the smell, so I took off one star for that.

Don't waste your money.
Horrible purchase. Opened up the package. It was raw wood not even finished, the holes that were drilled out weren't even cleaned up it still had splinters. #1 Only 2 holes play notes #2 only 3 holes play notes. I've been considering buying a wooden flute for a few years now and this was a major let down. Terrible quality period
