Built for the European Market it also works well in the states especially in any area where there is a lot of Iron. It is not as configurable as the midrange or high range detectors, but it works very well, and is a great entry point and a great special purpose detector for not a lot more than a pinpointer

I'm still kind of figuring out how to get a good feel for this detector, but what I've done with it so far I really like. The controls are pretty simple and the detector itself is lightweight. Also, anyone looking to purchase this model should know it requires stereo headphones, but normal headphones and a $5 adapter from Radio Shack saved me from having to invest in expensive head gear.This seems to be a great model for a beginner (which I am) and would even be good for intermediate hunters, but a pro might be on the lookout for a more high-end model. Don't be discouraged, though, because this detector has served me well so far. I haven't found anything of value in my backyard because I live in the middle of nowhere where nothing has ever happened, but I've found some stuff... hunks of metal and, for some reason, a bunch of Coke cans from the 80s. But it definitely picks up every little thing, which can be annoying when you dig a five-inch hole for a 1/4" piece of foil, but can also be good if you dig up something like an old class ring.My best advice would be to dig every signal you get with this thing. Sometimes it's tough to know why it's beeping and by ignoring a signal, you could be ignoring treasure. From what other folks have told me, though, if you get a really strong signal at a deep depth, that's generally garbage. While this detector is made for European ground, it seems to work just fine and dandy on US soil. I personally feel the Teknetics Eurotek Pro is an underrated metal detector and deserves a little more love.

It picks up metal but the numbers are very random

I bought this for my wife to use. A great detector for the money, I have used it alongside and checking with my AT Pro finding coins at 6 to 8 inches very light weight.

Ein toller Detektor,schnell zusammengebaut und geht über 30 cm in die Erde. Ha e ihn auch im Wasser halb eingetaucht und hatte tolle Ergebnisse bei der Goldsuche unter Wasser. Wirklich empfehlenswert

I bought this as a christmas present for my Dad. I wanted something costing no more than £200-£250 but at the same time, wanted to make sure I had something I felt was powerful enough to actually find something!After about 4 or 5 nights of research, decided that this was the best machine I could find -and well within my price range. I looked at around 30 detectors and found myself always comparing them to this one. It seemed to have exactly what I wanted........ a simple display screen and with minimal buttons, so my dad wouldn't get too confused. It also claimed to have some tech usually associated with the more expensive machines, which was encouraging.Everything arrived on time, exactly as described and once the weather had cleared we set upon it. We haven't found our fortune yet but the detector certainly works. It tells you the type and depth of the buried object and can precisely pinpoint it with a little practice. I've run a few different items past the search coil and it detects much deeper than I expected. Especially on small items such as rings and coins.I am more than confident that if you're in the right place, you'll find things with this machine. I would definately recommend it. The next step is to buy one for myself -and I am.
