I highly recommend waxed laces for ice skates, as they give superior hold and maximum control. You can really dial-in exactly where you want the fit to be tight or loose

Only thing wrong was the color I wanted was red and this was more orange. Laces work fine.

Awful laces.

They seem to be of good quality and they definitely had kept my skates much tighter than non waxed laces. The problem is that after 2 hours of hard skating one of my laces had already begun to snap and fray about 3 eyelets down on one of my skates.
