Absolute PITA
These needles may be easier to thread compared to a standard needle but there are two fundamental problems :- As you push the needle through the material it’s very easy to inadvertently push the thread back out of the self-threading ‘port’. The needle has to be in lol threaded multiple times.- The eye of the needles have not been finished very well and have sharp internal edges. These cut through the thread which of course means more hassle.I’ve gone back to using traditional closed-eye needles.

The idea is good
I needed a good idea to thread needles and this was a good idea. The holding box is lovely and a great idea. Alas, the thread doesnt hold well in the needle. I had to stop every second stitch and rethread the needle, as it slips out again. I think the ones which are open at the end must still be the better of the two, but i am hopeful, I will eventually find the best!!!

Rubbish. I wouldn't buy these as heads break off when hand sewing even with fine thread. I am just trying to hem some trousers & the head keeps catching on material and won't pull through. I've given up before the head breaks off.
