Best Pad Set for an Affordable Price
I returned the Triple Eight Saver Pad Set because I didn't like how the knee pads slid up and down my knees while testing it out. After looking through some reviews, I was lead to this 187 Killer Pads Six Pack Pad Set, which was almost double the price. However, you definitely get what you pay for. These pads don't slide up and down my knees and they fit snugly. They might feel a bit too tight, but at least they stay in place since you have to fit them over your arms and legs like a sleeve. That sleeve provides extra stability. Although the elbow pads have a smaller shield than the Triple Eight set, it is rounded and seems to be engineered to break your fall if you land on it. The knee pads are already much larger in surface area and seem like they can take a scrape. The wrist guards are fine, and I haven't seen too many differences between wrist guards of different brands at this price point.Overall it seems like a great pad set, and I'm glad I switched to this brand. If you can spare the extra money, you will probably save yourself a trip or two to the hospital (which is much more expensive) with this pad set over other cheaper pad sets.

This kit literally kept me still skating instead of broken bones.
Mid 30s learning to inline skate.I've had these pads for 3 weeks now. Last week they saved me from bloody knees and elbows, I stood up from a hard fall unharmed. Bruised hip 2 days later but no pain. Today it saved me from a broken wrist and more blood. I stood up knowing I was banged up bad but no real damage, I was able to slowly skate to my car.I'm out for a week or two but I would have broken my wrist or arm without the pads. Not part of the kit but I always wear a helmet too. Protect yourself so you can keep skating! (These are my only 2 falls, doing pretty good!)If you have read this far, all the pads are also extremely comfortable, they slide on and off easily and them there is 1-3 velcro straps (depending on the pad) to tighten with comfort. If you have the proper size they won't slide or rotate upon impact, but rather take the impact and protect you!Shout out to Ricky Glasser. Sponsor him and send him free stuff.

Far superior to the cheaper options
I'm 45 and just now learning to skateboard. With the number of hard falls I've taken I needed new and better pads.I ordered 2 other safety pads and returned them both, as they offered minimal protection. Frustrated, I decided to pay extra and hope for the best. These are far superior, better made, better fitting, and more protection. I highly recommend these. Do not waste your time, money and knees with the cheaper options.

Excellent
I just started learning how to surfskate and being 62 years old I don't want to land hard my knees, elbows or wrists without some sort of protection. I had purchased a different brand of protection but found it small and uncomfortable and yes, I did purchase the adult size. This brand is just the right size and not uncomfortable. I did take a fall while wearing the elbow and wrist guard and felt no pain in those areas when I hit the cement surface I was surfskating on. I think this an excellent product that I would highly recommend it.

So much better
I ordered the triple 8 basic saver pad kit for like 30$ and as soon as I got them I returned them. They were thin uncomfortable and really cheap feeling. I ordered these but didn't really want to spend this much on pads. I'm glad I did. I'm not overly concerned with safety but wanted something there so I can try things without being a busted up mess for the rest of the week. They fit so much better are more comfortable and much better quality. My only complaint is the knee pads are sewn in a way that makes it hard to straighten your legs. I am hoping that once they break in and soften a bit this won't be an issue.

Nice pads
I use them for riding my onewheel and I'm happy with them. Very padded, they stay in place, and they save your skin. Kind of a no brainier.

Great Quality, Highly Rated by Skaters, Great Price!
Peep the title, it explains everything. These are fantastic for the price. Idk how durable the wrist guards are, the plastic seems a little bendy, but i'd rather have them than not!
