Why is this oil better than 5w-30? Because at running temps it has the same 30 weight protection. At cold temps (startups) the 0w means it can flow normally a full 5c colder than 5w. This means your engine is protected from extremely cold weather starts, and also any cold starts it will pump better before it reaches full temp.** to achieve 0W rating almost all oil producers must add in REAL SYNTHETIC OIL BASE STOCK or even more than the little they did with there 5w-30. That is a good thing those group 4/5 oils bring superior protection with them. This is why soon many oil enthusiasts rave about Ow-40 oil because it contains a lot of real synthetic oil. A lot of them run it in there 5w-30 vehicles . I don’t see the issue with that but some cars do have tighter clearances that may restrict flow but this is not common. The best turbo do euro cars all run it. BMW, Porsche, Benz.. still it is nice to se a 0w-30 grade available from a big oil company hopefully it will become more common. 0w-20 does not have enough viscosity to protect any high perf engine. 0w-30 does however. At very high temps 30 weight oil still protects 20 weight is not nearly enough. Most race engines use 50w some super cars is 60w.

I've used this for multiple vehicles with good success. Bought it this time for 2022 GMC Sierra 6.6 gas engine to meet mfr recommendation for extreme cold weather of MT winters. Pricing when I bought it was way less than currently. I just bought some more online elsewhere for less than 1/2 of current asking here.
