Celtic Christmas: A Windham Hill Sampler

This CD could be played anytime during the year, as it doesn't sound at all like traditional Christmas. I bought Celtic Christmas III several years ago, and I enjoy it a great deal. That's why I purchased Celtic Christmas, and I expect to enjoy it every bit as much. It is good music, well performed. Just don't buy it with the expectation that it will sound like traditional Christmas.

Already owned one, for a few years. Wanted some for friends and family. Not a Traditional Christmas Album, in other words not the Carols sang with an accent and tin whistle, but rather, a beautiful collection of ethereal music for the Soul at the Christmas Season.

Wonderful Addition to my other Celtic Christmas albums. Soothing music for those dreary winter months, not just for the holidays!

The music on this CD is beautiful, I enjoy listening to it all year.

An excellent collection of Celtic music from many contemporary Celtic artists. There's not a bad track on the CD. If you're looking for "christmas-y" music in the vein of Mannheim Steamroller, look elsewhere. This is the real stuff, from solemn, to joyous, to reflective. I can't recommend it enough.

The songs on this CD don't sound especially Christmas-y, and they wouldn't be out of place played on a July afternoon, but they still capture the feeling of the winter season. This is a pleasant, easy-listening collection for people who love Celtic music.

Je ne trouve pas que la musique fait penser à Noël, enfin pas toutes les pièces. Et je croyais obtenir davantage de musique "folklorique" celtique.
