Silver Brush Limited 3007S -4 Black Velvet Script Liner Paintbrush for Watercolor, Gouache, Inks, & Dyes, Size 4, Short Handle

These are great brushes. Easy to control and bristles don’t fall out.

I'm using this to outline shapes on my Majolica pottery, and it is perfect. The brush is smooth, and makes a calligraphy-type stroke (wide to thin). It is especially important since I am painting stain onto glaze that the brush have a smooth stroke, and so I am quite pleased with it.

I have used very expensive Winsor & Newton Kolinsky sable brushes for years and was looking for a lower cost alternative that I might be able to carry with me outside my studio. A sales person at my local art supply store recommended the Silver Brush 3000 series. This is my 6th brush purchased in that series and I am loving them all. I cannot recommend the Silver Brush 3000 series enough for watercolor painting. Try one and you will be hooked.

I tried out the Black Velvet Script Liner Size 4 Brush and it is amazing. This brush holds a lot of water due to it's mixed hair composition, and it's perfect for painting large areas when creating watercolor works of art.

Love these brushes I want then all. They hold a lot of paint and so soft. I highly recommend them .
