Vr link cable
I use this on my Quest 2 and it works perfectly with my gaming laptop. The cable is thick and quite heavy so bare that in mind as you do know its plugged in your headset, but that also means very well made and durable so the balance of quality to weight I guess is how it should be. I'd have liked it to be a flat cable and lighter but it does work perfectly even with the new 90hz patch, no issues at all. It works and it doesn't fall out while I'm beat sabreing so it's a great item. Recommended item 8/10.

Great Pico 4 charging and tethered USB lead
I purchased this for my Pico 4 headset with an aim to use it for 1. Charging while using the headset standalone and 2. To tether via Pico Streaming assitant It works very well for both with no issues at all, to be fair I have switched to using Virtual Desktop wirelessly rather than tethered with the lead and Pico Assistant but I still use it all the time for charging. It comes with a little velcro strap which I highly recommend is used so that the lead doesn't get pulled while plugged in (and potentially damage the VR headset connector). Great quality item and would recommend.

Works with Quest 2
I didn't fancy paying £90 for the official Facebook (sorry, Oculus) cable for my new Quest2 and figured that this was worth a gamble at a quarter of the price. Well, I'm glad I did it was definitely worth it. I only needed 3m as I use it exclusively for VR Simracing so it's a bit shorter than the official cable, but the quality of the cable seems excellent and I experience no noticeable lag. It's a data cable, not a video one so the image is generated and compressed on the PC, so it has nothing to do with the image quality as I've seen suggested elsewhere. I've not tried the official cable, but I can't see how it can be any better than this. My only, slight issue is that it could put a bit of stress on the socket on the headset as the cable is quite heavy (decent thickness quality!) and firm. To support it, I've wrapped the velcro tie that came on the cable, around the arm of the headset. If this was even one cm longer, it would be ideal to support it. As it is, it *just* reaches around it. Otherwise everything is good. Still expensive for a 3m cable, but a lot more palatable that the official version price.

A Solid Oculus Link Cable - A Game Changer, But One Drawback
I've been using the dethinton Virtual Reality Headset Cable with my Oculus Quest 2, and I must say, it's been a game changer for my VR experience. The 5-meter length gives me plenty of freedom to move around without feeling tethered, and the build quality is top-notch. It's quite durable, and I've had no issues with any signal interruptions or data transfer problems. Setting it up was a breeze; I plugged it into my gaming PC's USB 3.0 port, and it connected flawlessly to my Oculus Quest 2. The clarity and response time are impressive, making my VR gaming sessions more immersive and enjoyable. The only drawback I've noticed is that the cable can get a bit heavy, which can be slightly uncomfortable during extended gaming sessions. However, this is a minor issue, and it's a small trade-off for the fantastic performance you get. Overall, the dethinton VR cable is a must-have for any Oculus Quest user looking to connect to their gaming PC. It transforms your VR experience and is a fantastic addition to your setup.

Review Changed from 1 star to 5.
Original Review at the end: Changed review as after having it sitting there for months, I decided to try again and what I hadn't realised is that the USB connection does indeed fit if pushed in with a little more force. It actually clicks into place and sits tightly. Since then, I've used it to play a host of PCVR games and had no issues with the cable. Original Review: The USB C connection end was defective. Would fit in the oculas by holding it, but would simply fall out. Very loose. Was able to get it to hold with the fastener on the cable, but PC didn't detect the oculas. Tested also on my USB C smartphone which too didn't register a connection. No charge indicator. I suspect these are cheaply made and as I see other oculas customers giving positive reviews, I think it's pot luck as to whether you get an acceptable one or not.

Great
I mean, £12 for a cable may sound a bit crazy but it is actually a really good cable. Fast connections, charging. It’s not too thick, the length is extremely long more than you will need.

Cable stops working for no reason
This is the second of these cables I purchased the first one I assumed I might have damaged through rough use in VR but this second one I purchased I took care of as if it was a new born baby and it has done exactly the same thing. Any time I plug it in I get maybe 30 seconds to 3 mins of being able to use my quest 2 on my pc then it randomly disconnects me. I have experimented and it isn't just happening while I am moving, I have sat down and held as still as a statue and it still disconnects within that time window. I am not the only one suffering this issue. A friend of mine got the same cable from here. The first one didn't work at all and had to be returned and the second one is now doing the same as mine and randomly disconnects. After my 12 hour night shifts all I wish to do is unwind in a VR game and this cable caused me to go to bed enraged this morning due to it not doing its simple function of connecting to the computer. If you get a quest 2 and wish to play on your PC do yourself a favour and save that little bit extra, get a strong router with 5g and play over air link with a proper charge cable or battery plugged in rather than get this cable. It doesn't even charge the headset properly when you're playing so eventually you have to come off due to the battery running out.

Knackered after jabout a year of use
Worked quite well at first, although from the outset could disconnect suddenly sometimes due to jolts or for no obvious reasons Within last few weeks rapidly declined to a point of beging completely unusable for play, and only just about functional for sideloading - but even small knocks can disrupt connection

I could get the original Oculus cable for $100 or get this one for a fifth of the price. Works great.

The cable only seems to work as a USB 2.0 cable, not as USB3.2 gen1. Whenever I connect it to any of the 4 USB3 ports on my system, Windows will repeatedly detect and lose the device connected behind the cable, and eventually mark the entire device as broken with an Invalid Device Descriptor error. It appears that either my cable is broken, or the advertising isn't correct, and this is a USB2 cable instead of a USB3.2 cable.
