Does not work with Phillips Hue. Will connect to Smart Things hub
Product works with Smart Things hub, but no directly with a Philips hue hub.Disappointed that I had to use the smart things hub to get it to work, but since it was already installed I kept the item.Works great with smart things. I connected my smart things account to Alexa, and Alexa immediately discovered the plug.

It works
I purchased the plug-in dimmer. I’m using it to be able to dim a table lamp. I’m happy with it. It works as expected so far. The thing that I was not particularly happy with was getting it connected to Alexa. When trying to connect manually by adding the device (as a switch) in the Alexa app, the Alexa app insisted that I would have to download the Enbrighten app and do a set up there, after which I could return to the Alexa app to complete the set up. No, absolutely no.I was about to return the dimmer when I tried asking Alexa to find my device, which still didn’t work, but then I moved the device closer to the router and my Echo Show (which has zigbee), and finally Alexa found it. After that, I moved the dimmer to where I wanted it, and it remained connected. So, it’s possible to set this device up just having a zigbee Echo and the Alexa app. It’ll probably be necessary to ask Alexa to find the device unless you want to use the Enbrighten app (which is completely unnecessary in my particular type of set-up).The dimmer seems very large to me. I guess it’s as small as it can be made, but it seems big. It just barely does not block the second outlet. On my Alexa app, it connected as a switch, rather than as a plug. I changed that to a light so I could control it as a light. I’m using the dimmer with 100 watt-equivalent LED dimmer bulbs. No flickering so far.

It's pricey, but it works well
This is working good, we haven't had any problems with it so far. You are supposed to install this wall mounted facing down, to improve it's weather resistance.

Works directly with Echo hubs - Frustrating setup
Product does exactly what it's supposed to. Provide Zigbee control of an outlet and integrate with Amazon Echo.Controlled lower outlet is a better design than many other smart home controlled outlets that switch the upper outlet. This design keeps the upper outlet more accessible.Paired directly with my Echo Show (finally). And is controllable via voice and the app once paired. Can be set up as a "switch" or a "light" in the Alexa app.Seems well built, has the correct back wire screw clamps, not the cheap stab in connectors.I have more than a100 smart devices in my home and have been using smart home devices for 15 years. The pairing window is RIDICULOUSLY short. Maybe 5-10 seconds maximum. Most other Zigbee devices I have have a 60 second pairing window. The device starts pairing AS SOON AS it's powered on. And times out WAY TOO quickly. You have to have the Echo in discovery mode first. As stated in the instructions, after two pairing attempts, the device stops trying. You have to reset it, however the reset procedure is EXCEEDINGLY frustrating. You (apparrently) have to press the button three times, then hold it down for 3 seconds to get it into pairing mode. This is extremely hit and miss.I tried three deliberate presses and then a press and hold. "1-2-3-4hold"That never worked.I tried the hold on the third press, that never worked. You have to press the button extremely rapidly three times as fast as you can then a fourth press and hold.So it's essentially "1234hold..."And that only resets it to the very short pairing window. You also have to be careful, because if you press it ten times in a row you start changing the LED behavior.Essentially you have to tell the Echo to discover devices, then give it a second or so, then press the button as fast as you can 4 times and hold for three seconds.Took about a dozen tries to get it to pair. But once paired it does work well. The radio doesn't seem as strong on it as on my GE 45857GE Dimmer switch. I could readily pair that switch from my office with the Echo in another room. I had to have this device right next to the Echo to pair it. Which meant I couldn't install it in the wall first, I had to hook it up to a cord like it was an appliance, pair it, and then install it in the wall.Luckily it remembered the pairing even after powering off.A good device but GE needs to make a change to the firmware pairing routine.

Easy to add to SmartThings devices
Bought 2 of these Plug-in Smart Dimmer outlets to use with pairs of decorative lamps (USB Crystal Table Lamp, Small Gold Lamp Sets, here on Amazon) with dimmable Edison-style LED bulbs. Both dimmer outlets were very easy to add to my SmartThings home device list - just plug into an outlet near the SmartThings hub, go to the SmartThings app on your phone, select add device, select "Scan QR Code" then scan the code on the plug-in outlet itself or on the box that it came in. Then push the power button on top of the outlet for a few seconds. After way less than a minute, the outlet is set up and listed correctly on your device list. The dimmer device controller has a slider bar for setting the dimmer level, a timer function and a program function (ON and OFF times for each day of the week), as well as an ON/OFF toggle. With the Dimmable Ascher Vintage LED Edison Bulbs, $21 for a box of 6 here on Amazon, absolutely zero flicker and it appears I can control the brightness in 1% steps - pretty amazing considering my prior experience with dimmer switches and LED dimmable bulbs. My wife who is Buddhist uses a pair of the table lamps on a table for honoring the ancestors, and another pair on the Buddha table, so I wanted an outlet that would control both lamps exactly the same. The Enbrighten dimmer is ideal for this purpose.NOTE: The table/desk lamp sets have 2 USB charging ports on each lamp - I suggest you do NOT use them with a dimmable outlet like this Enbrighten outlet, as it could damage whatever device you are trying to recharge. Instead, get something like "Touch USB Crystal Rose Gold Lamp Set of 2, 3-Way Touch Crystal Lamps with Dual USB Ports, Dimmable Nightstand Desk Light" where the touch dimmer is for the lamp only, not the USB charging ports. We use these lamps in the bedroom for accent lighting and of course to recharge phones & such.

I absolutely love this switch, works with Hubitat!
I bought this to replace an older generic wifi one as I've built up a decent zigbee mesh network in my home on the hubitat platform. It was easy to pair, not sure why the other reviewers seemed to have such a hard time, perhaps they did a firmware update? Anyway, I've had it set up now for a few days with no issues, time will tell if it survives the Canadian winters outdoors, but so far it's held up in the rain so I'm confident.

Smart light switch works really well.
Easy to mount and install, was able to get it to connect my home assistant and automate on/off conditions. Currently using this to turn on outdoor string lights in my backyard.
