SR SUN RISE Pressure Balance Shower Valve Faucet Control for Rain Shower Head and Handheld Shower Head (Contain Rough-In Shower Valve Body and Trim)

For the price I paid and the positive reviews I expected a flawless product, but a plumber has made adjustments twice on this and our after a few uses the shower again begins to drip a steady stream of water. Essentially the water does not cut off properly when the shower is turned off. The plumber tells us this is because one the valve partsis faulty and needs replacing. I am very disappointed that I have to pay for extra parts and repair on a brand new piece. I cannot replace the entire valve because that would require rebuilding an entire wall in our bathroom. I like the design so for that reason I am giving it two stars.

Had this installed back in 2016. It has been leaking slowly and steadily now for about a year, and it's taken me this long to find the problem. It has damaged my 30-year old timber flooring behind the shower wall (mold and water damage) which will add further to the cost of rectification. After looking everywhere else for the source of the leak (shower base, shower screen, floor drain, shower head) I eventually found it was originating from this unit after tearing the back wall out for the plumber. Not going to contact manufacturer, sounds like they won't actually help. I am having it replaced with an established US brand to ensure QC.

Seems to be a solid product.Common sense install. Works great in my custom shower I built with rainfall shower head and a handheld shower head. My only recommendation is to use thread tape an thread sealant and do not over tighten. You will pull the threads. Government no longer allows for lead to be mixed in with the brass so it’s not as forgiving an will pull threads. Any fittings or valves you buy in this day an age are like that. Great product will be buying a second one to have as a spare in case mine goes bad in the future.

The faucet is nice, but be prepared if you by this to spend around $50.00 for the NPT fittings needed to keep it from leaking. I would have scored it better if the company would have honored the note included with the faucet that states, if you have an issue with leaking fittings contact us and we will ship them to you. I sent a request, but they have yet to ship them. The faucet itself is beautiful, very good quality, and shipped overnight. Honestly, I ordered the faucet to save a little money, not realizing that the thread adaptors cost $15.00 each

When I first ordered this, I knew that this was the style I wanted, but hadn't seen that others like this cost 3 or 4 times more. Now I know why. The first one came with a damaged faceplate, so I promptly returned it and ordered another. The second one seemed to be packed better, and the contents were fine. We installed the valve and were amazed at how lose the standard G 1/2 fittings were. They leaked. The fittings bottomed out against the valve. We might have been able to stop the leaks by applying gobs of teflon tape, but they would have eventually leaked in the future. I returned it and purchased the highly rated Hansgrohe valve. I wasted several days on this and it set me back on getting the bathroom remodel done.I hope the Hansgrohe does the trick!

When I took this product out of the package, I was very impressed with its weight and quality. I was similarly impressed by the weight and quality of the other KES products I purchased. While this is an excellent product, it is very important that the installer is aware that an adapter is needed where the water lines tie into the the mixer. It is possible that an O-ring seated inside would solve the issue but it is safer to buy the adapter that takes you from british to standard american thread.

Looks and works great! However, would have been nice to have indexing marks on handle to indicate that the bottom of the handle moves to the called temp side. When moving clockwise the water gets hot. as the top of the handle is pointing to cold. had me checking to be sure not plumbed backwards as my customer thought it was. Had to re-educate customer since there were no instructions to confirm as to the indexing. A small etching on the bottom of the handle would be nice..

I’ve put it in then install my tile and shower glass door ! And now everything needs to come out !!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!!! I wish I can make this company pay for this 😤😤😤

It has been 3 months since I bought this product, I did not want to comment until I tried it a while and to my displeasure, I must tell you that it has been oxidized and that I have replaced it, very short time and poor quality, I DO NOT recommend your purchase.

Gratamente sorprendido al abrir el paquete que ya quería decir algo, trae unos guantes de tela para no manchar el cromado. bien empaquetado, el producto tiene un aspecto inmejorable, los cromados brillo impecable, funciona muy bien. Ahora solo falta ver la durabilidad.

Kartusche des Mischers begann nach ein paar Monaten nach Einbau zu tropfen. Habe versucht, über Garantie, die angeblich 5 Jahre auf diesem Produkt ist, etwas zu erreichen, aber ich bekam nie Antwort.Würde bei S R SUNRISE nie wieder etwas kaufen.Übrigens: Amazon scheint das auch sehr egal zu sein !!!!!!!
