Irish Uilleann Bagpipe Half Set, African Blackwood, with 3 Keyed Chanter, Complete Set

When trying to fill the chanter with air from the bag, I noticed the bag would deflate quickly and it took too much effort to pump the bellows. Upon closer inspection, I observed a gaping hole in the air bag. I purchased a set of these pipes over a month ago, and I still haven't been able to get the chanter in concert pitch D, let alone the regulators. I tried adjusting the drone reeds to get some sound to come out of the drones, but to no avail. Even when playing the chanter, the sound that comes out is more similar to that of a saxophone than the signature haunting wail of a good set of uilleann pipes. If you have an insatiable masochistic streak that needs indulging, or you really don't like your neighbors, then these are the pipes for you. Though I imagine you can get the same result for a lot less money.
