Beautiful blooms!!
I bought this about 4 months ago with low expectations (considering other low reviews), but with correct growing conditions, you’ll get beautiful blooms. The rhizome arrived healthy, however, growth at first was pretty slow. It took about 2 weeks to put out its first lily pad. I transplanted it to my patio pond and growth accelerated. 4 months later, with a little maintenance, I have beautiful blooms!! Make sure you fertilize once every month to ensure efficient growth

Bad quality
Not too happy with this purchase. I was skeptical due to the mixed reviews, but some of the pictures led me to believe this would be a good purchase. The plant arrived in a very bad state, even when I got it out of my mailbox during its arrival. Very little leaves and already clearly under duress despite lower temperatures.

Replacement had actual growth & looks promising. Not sure how long before I see a bloom...Thank you.

Only one came up. I circled where the other was planted.
It's hit or miss I guess. I purchased 2 rhizomes only one came up. I planted them on opposite sides of the pond.

Not as pictured but still beautiful
So, color isn't accurate but it's still a beautiful part of the pond. Ordered purple and red hardy lilies last year, 4 plants total. Two survived the zone 5 winters here in NY and bloomed this summer 2025. So they are hardy if you can get them growing after shipping. But they loose a star because they're not purple or red, they're pink. Yet very beautiful and not too large about 2.5 ft x 3ft area. Our pond is natural and these are growing in clay, our pond is about 8ft wide x 22ft long. You could definitely grow them in a small patio pond.

Beautiful flowers
Purchased 2 of these lily pads in May, and they were slow to develop, But once leaves started popping up now they've gone crazy, beautiful, big lily pads and flowers. Extremely happy with them.

Plant arrived dead and rotten
Beware!! Read before you buy!!! I paid extra for fastest delivery and it still came very late and very dead. I received a yellowish brown, rotten and dead plant so I can’t do anything with this but regret my decision of buying this. the smell was enough to make me sick to my stomach; putting it in my pond would be disastrous to the ecosystem. Not a good purchase on my part at all , likely best to get seeds and start the old fashion way - at least you won’t receive a rotten plant in your mailbox that way.

So far, so good
My tuber did not look anything like the picture. It was a black ball with no growth. I was optimistic though, and planted exactly as I should have. Nothing. It only rotted away into a slimier black blob.Edit: I am updating. Seller sent me a new tuber. It arrived just like the picture, with growth on it. I planted it yesterday, and by today, within 24 hours, it is already growing! When it arrived, it had 2 small sprouts and what looked like a shriveled up baby lily pad. Today, there is definately a small lily pad growing, 2 new shoots and the 2 previous shoots are bigger! I can't wait to watch it grow.Would but again, and the seller is awesome!
