no need to cut tape. yes, you can just twist the seal

Q: Does this come with any paper and sealing tape?

There is only one set of tape inside the machine. No additional tape came with the shipment. I believe the tapes shown in the picture should be included.

Q: Will this seal around a paper straw? I use these as decorative sticks for my cake pops and wonder if they cause any issues since they are hollow.

I do not have a paper straw to test it on, but I have used several different materials, I even used a rolled up tissue and it worked great on all. The only thing I could see potentially being an issue is if the straw is not sturdy it could bend, but unlikely.

Q: What color is the tape that comes pre loaded and how many seals does 1 roll produce?

It comes preloaded with white labels. I'm not finished with the roll yet, 2/3 Used. I sealed over 300 bags of Kettle Corn. Hope this answers your question. Love the tape machine.
