Best toddler clock out there!
I’ve searched for a toddler clock for over a year now and finally felt My Sleep Clock was as close to the perfect clock I could find. I opted to not buy the more expensive Tot Clock because we don’t use time outs and couldn’t see value in using the clock for encouragement timers. Still cheaper to buy this without the plug and purchase that separately. But I wish I had thought to but a white one instead of the black that is recommended through Amazon. It would look so much cleaner to have matched it to the Sleep Clock. It looks intimidating to use because of all the buttons beneath the faceplate but once you get started it’s pretty self explanatory. Kind of annoying to have to click on the purple button then click again and hold for 5 seconds instead of just pressing it once to activate naptime but I get that it has to be that way so that the kids don’t mess up the setting if they start pushing the buttons. Second choice was the OK to Wake clock but I read reviews that said the wake light didn’t stay on for long and the toddler would miss the wake light if they slept in one day. This clock avoids that problem by having the yellow wake light stay on until bedtime, until the nap button is activated, or up to an hour if the energy saver is selected. Awesome.I’m also so glad the blue bedtime light can be turned completely off. But why not have that option for the nap and wake time lights too? We sleep and nap with blackout curtains so the room is pretty dark. The purple nap light and yellow wake light illumainate the room and disrupt sleep. Especially since I’m not using this as an alarm clock. It’s being used to just indicate when it’s ok for her to leave the room and start or continue her day. So I want her to sleep in if she wants to. With the purple and yellow lights on so bright without dimming options like the blue light, I have to turn the clock away from facing her which defeats the purpose.Wish the nap settings could be activated for a certain time instead of length. Right now we have it set to one hour but I wish I could tell it to change to yellow at 2 pm when naptime is over because sometimes she gets tired earlier and I don’t want her out of naptime until 2. So I have to change the length each day depending on when she starts naptime. The last feature I would add is a visual timer to the nap selection. It’s pretty cool that the timer counts down but for littles who can’t read/understand countdown numbers, it’s not all that useful. They need a red, yellow, green timer or something similar to let them know naptime is not over, almost over, over. All in all it’s the best I have found available and a good toddler clock. They thought of almost everything! Solid construction, thoughtful design, cute faceplates and a money back guarantee. I reached out with questions before purchasing and they it was one of the best reaponses- responded within a day, it was humble and genuine, they seemed to really care about my concerns, and they were courteous. Seems like a reputable company. Happy with my purchase, just need to iron out the kinks.

Worked for our 2.5 year old toddler! From day 1!
Let me cut to the chase, DID IT WORK FOR A 2.5 YEAR OLD?! Answer: YES! HOLY COW IT WORKED!! Now that I've got that out of the way, I can elaborate. Our 2.5 year old toddler was getting into the habit of waking up earlier and earlier. I decided to give this a shot but had little hope of it working since he was so young. As soon as the clock arrived he was excited to look at it and was happy to have his very own clock. We very carefully explained that the orange screen meant he can be awake and out of bed, purple meant he should be napping or reading quietly in his room, and blue meant he should be sleeping and in bed. He seemed to understand. We reinforced the behavior we were looking for with a sticker chart. Yeah, we were pulling out all the stops because we really wanted this to work. He was instantly obsessed with the colors of the clock. It has some features that include music and sound, but I just shut all that off. The clock face can be dimmed so it's not too bright at night, and it serves as a good night light. You can set exactly when the face turns colors, or you can manually turn it a different color (way more useful feature than I thought it would be). The clock is easy to program. It can run off batteries or you can plug it in. Best to do both options because the child will want to play with this clock. Batteries help keep all your programming in place when it's unplugged. The clock is a good size, not too small, and not too big to take traveling with us. The first night I was very skeptical that it was going to work. I had the sticker chart ready and as we put him to bed we pointed out that the clock face had turned blue, which meant it was bedtime, and as long as he stayed in bed until the clock face turned orange he'd be able to put a sticker on his sticker chart. He was so excited, he kept repeating that when his clock turned orange he could put a sticker on his sticker chart. The next morning he stayed in his bed until the clock turned orange, then came bursting out of his room announcing his clock had turned orange and now he got to put a sticker on his sticker chart. We were overjoyed. It worked. It's been a year now and he still loves using the clock. He knows to stay in his room until the clock turns orange. It's never been a fight. The sticker chart comes in handy when he starts to get lax about it, we just get him a new pack of stickers and once again he's excited to stay in bed til his clock turns orange. This clock has been amazing to have, and I recommend it highly. I suggest using a reward for the child doing what you want them to do. Stickers worked perfect for us, they're cheap so it's a big win.

Great Upgrade from the Groclock
We bought this clock as an upgrade to the Groclock for our 3year old. We wanted a clock that still had the day/night colour feature as well as an actual clockface since she is interested in reading time.We love the clock and believe it as it has all the features and more than the previous clock. The only frustrating part is that the instructions don't say how to choose from the song selection (and we still havent figured it out). Also, though the batteries seem to last, the clock doesn't come with an adapter. All in all great clock but instructions are lacking. The portable size and handls are fun for her too.
