The perfect product to finish my movie theater
One of my COVID projects was to re-do our little movie theater in our home. New paint, screen, projector and the last step was to add some smart lights to allow for a real movie theater experience. After some searching I came across Globe and decided they were the right choice. I ordered 6 lights and they came very quickly. I did run into a problem where only 5 of the 6 were working. I contacted Globe and after trying some potential fixes it was determined that a new unit was needed. Globe turned that around in about a week and the new light works perfectly! This is a great product backed by great customer support!

So easy to use!! Great product!!
I love these lights. No need to connect them to a switch. Alexa does everything. If u put it on a dimmer switch it will flicker because it’s not compatible with that kind of switch. I love the party mode. I feel like I’m at a club on my house. These are the best. Will definitely be ordering more for the rest of the house.

Needed a pairing solution, would better with a wall dimmer
I was initially unable to pair the light to my phone because my router emits a 2.4GHz and 5.0Ghz frequency and I cannot change it to allow my phone to use 2.4GHz. Some phones will allow you to do this. Mine will not. In order to be able to use these lights if your phone cannot be set to 2.4GHz you will have to:1. put your phone in Airplane Mode2. Turn on wifi3. Walk away from your router until the wifi signal is lost4. Turn back and slowly walk back toward your router. Since the 2.4GHz signal will extend further than the 5GHZ your phone will connect to the 2.4GHz. You can now connect to Globe app.After looking online I see that a lot of people have this problem. The solution should be included in the instructions.It took me hours to find a solution. However, once I did the lights are very nice. The one thing I do not like is that I cannot use a wall dimmer switch. This would be better as I do not always want to use my phone to dim lights.

Defective lights, stop working after less than 60 days.. Customer service refused to help!!!
I bought 18 recessed lights from Globe in September and paid an electrician 90$ per piece to install them for me by end of September. Installed 18 lights and 11 of them are not working now, less than 60 days later. He installed them on two different switches and everything was fine till 2 weeks ago. Every time I used the app to power them on, they’re automatically powered off after like 2 minutes and I have to power off the switch and powered it back on. I have a 400 internet speed and also installed an extender. I called the electrician back, he checked all the wire and even came with the same recessed light to test it and everything work fine with the light he brought with him. He told me that my recessed lights are defective, when I called Globe customer, spoke and exchanged several emails with Mr Philipes, at first he told me they will replace them for me and he needs the approval from his manager. Now he told me that I have to pay the electrician to take the 11 defective lights, ship them to him, after they receive and test them they will ship me the replacement. Meaning, I paid the electrician 90$ each to put them, now I have to pay him again to take them out and when I receive the replacement, to pay for a 3rd time to put them in. I told him that doesn’t make any sense unless they’re paying for all that. He can just ship the replacement with the return labels, while the electrician put the replacement, he will remove the defective ones, he doesn’t need to make 3 trips in total to my house. Globe customer service told me nah….. they can’t do that and stop replying my emails and every time I called them, they kept on hangup on me. Bad customer service, they’re only want your money and that’s it…

Need IT skills to sync to WiFi if not 2.5 mhz
Cheaper then Home Depot. Have not been able to sync to WiFi. Must be 2.5 mhz

Hard to connect ALL the recessed lights to the app at the same time
Beautiful lights with vibrant color. App allows you to set various colors and time-based actions easily.However, connecting the lights to the app was painful. I have a lot of these lights installed, and I need to turn the switch on and off every few seconds for a few hours in order to get the app to register ALL the lights at the SAME time. Otherwise, I need to turn the switch on and off a few times again to reset it. This is not an issue if you only have a couple of recessed lights. However, if you have a lot of these lights, it's going to be tough to connect them to the app.

Glitchy, requires internet to work and can’t use a switch to turn of
Very Glitchy, they sometimes work, can’t use a switch to turn them off because they reset back to pairing. It would work better if we could connect via Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi. They don’t work if you don’t have internet access. Terrible product, DON’T BUY!

Automated Can lights!!
Everything is great about this product but they need to add a fine print if you're installing multiple can lights you need to make sure you turn all the same time to sync and pair. Cause if you don't you will need to remove it and find another area to pair and bring back to original location. Just has a few times it goes offline but works great on the app.

Perfect for my spa bathroom!
I am a designer and just completed a bathroom renovation at my home. I wanted to create a spa-like atmosphere. I was searching for a recessed light that not only had white light and varying shades of white from bright to warm but also ones that changed colour and wet rated for the bathroom. Voila! I found these lights. FYI this next bit of information is VERY important when you are considering buying these lights. First off - they are set up through your Wi-Fi. You MUST be able to access a 2.4gz not 5gz setting on your wi-fi or you will go crazy trying to set these up, however, once you do it is really simple. You simply download the Globe Electric app on your phone and follow the prompts. It takes a couple minutes to be up and running. You can even pair it with your Google home for voice activation as well. So.... to getting back to my spa bathroom.... These lights work perfectly. I had 4 of these lights installed...two over the tub, one above the toilet, one above the vanity. What I love the most is that each light can be activated individually. Example... to create a relaxing bath mood...I switch off the toilet and vanity lights and change the two above the tub to a beautiful magenta/purple colour. Now you have a truly relaxing chromotherapy experience. You can also set pre-set scenes. The app allows you to dim, change the rainbow of light colours or the intensity of the white light. So brilliant! I forgot to mention that the actual light is LED = energy saving and the fixture is very very slim profile, making it easy to install in all construction settings.

These are great lights. They work very nicely and easily through the Globe app.The flexibility to the different colour combinations is endless, but they also work nicely as white lights.

Work great even with my dimmers. Suggest not using dimmers though. The lights dont need them. Fully adjustable on their own

Do Not Purchase
We bought these as they were rated for out door use and we could change colours through the app. They all drop their wifi connection frequently. By frequently I mean, every time you turn them on they need to be reconnected to the app. You can tell because they become a strobe light if they aren’t connected making them unusable. We bought 7 separately in different boxes. 4 do not work.
