Soulistic Originals Nautical Nirvana Tuna & Skipjack Dinner in Gravy Wet Cat Food, 3 oz., Case of 12

My cat family is fussy. One day they like a certain food and the next they sniff and walk away. But, THIS food is a hit every time it is served to their royal highness'! They lick the plates clean and look for more. It is a true treat for me to find something that they actually LOVE to eat and not have any dried up left overs to deal with. Plus... this is a very healthy and nutrious meal for my cats. Happy Cats = Happy Cat Mom.

I have fed Weruva Soulistic Nautical Nirvana to my cat for years with no problems. In December 2023, I ordered as usual and received the batch numbered cans. As soon as I opened the cans, I noticed a distinctive green tint in the gravy. I had not seen this before. Within a day or two, my cat was sick and throwing up several times during the day and night. I was throwing away more food than she was eating and I was relying primarily on her dry food. In January I ordered two more cases of the Weruva Soulistic, hoping for a different batch number. Unfortunately, I received exactly the same batch I received in December and upon opening a can, saw the same green tint. I went to our local Petco and bought smaller cans with a different batch number. Within a couple days, my cat was back to normal, eating well and not throwing up. Of course, this experiment to determine what was making my cat sick, ate up the time I might have returned the expensive cans I bought but cannot use or want to pass on to others for fear of making their animals sick. I guess I'll throw away the cases, needlessly throwing away a lot of money. These issues are becoming more and more frequent with purchases made on Amazon so I'll be buying local from now on. A Weruva representative told me they stand behind their products and that I could return them for replacement or refund at any time but I see no way of doing that on Amazon. Photos show the batch number and green tinted food compared with food I bought locally (no green tint).

To soupy and watery. More liquid than actual food.

I had multiple cans that the tab broke off. When I inspected the cans closely I found rat hair between the cans that were stuck together from old sticky gunk. Threw all of them into the trash. Won’t order again. Won’t touch again to take a picture.
