My favorite after Fallen Crest
Some might not agree, I sometimes don't even agree to myself but I honestly wish for a Series. I wish for a longer Story of Aspen. I wish for more of Blaise. At the same time I don't. I honestly think this is one of best story written. I bought this a long time ago but never read it and regretted, I feel in love with Aspen and Blaise. I saw Sam and Mason and I feel like I was back to years ago when Fallen Crest High was just published.

Whoa! This book was sick, in a totally good way.
The characters were funny, smart, and easy to empathize with. They’re voices rang with a kind of honesty that comes from being like someone you’ve met before, in real life. Yes, Blaise could be a prick, but if you didn’t listen when the author literally put that in the title, that’s on you. However how he grows because of his feelings for Aspen, was what made this book awesome. That, and all the hotness and all the feels. I’d never read Tijan before, now I’m going to deep dive the entire list of available titles. And also possibly buy all of em. Two thumbs up and five stars.

Blaise and Aspen are life!
This book had me hooked from the second Aspen watched a girl going down on Blaise. It also destroyed me at times. When Aspen talked about Owen, I couldn’t stop my crying. When Blaise had his problems, I couldn’t stop my crying. This was a very emotional and heartbreaking book. I love Aspen and Blaise together! I love how protective he gets of her about camping. Aspen is a very strong girl!

Engrossing from the first page
We’ll call this one 5 stars with an asterisk, because I enjoyed it way too much to rate it any lower, but there were definitely a couple of things that bugged me (more on that in a minute). Tijan is an excellent writer, so the words just flowed and the story was engrossing from the very first page. I’ve never read a meet cute quite like this one, and it sets the tone for the rest of the book. The author does a great job building intimacy and showcasing the quieter moments between these two. And for a book that’s about high school students, it was refreshingly different than what I was expecting (I think I have PTSD from too many bully romances at this point). There are a couple of bumps on the road to happily ever after for these two, but the tone is light with shots of angst that add great depth to this romance. The story follows Aspen, a high school senior who just wants to get through the last two weeks of school without anyone noticing her. Aspen is reserved and past experiences have made her want to stay out of the spotlight, so she’s been doing a great job being forgettable around the school. But when she locks eyes with her crush, Blaise, during an intimate moment with another girl, that all changes. Blaise is curious about the girl who would be so brazen as to watch, but so bashful that she would hide in the woods. It’s not long before these two are crushing on each other in a big way, and navigating the complexities of their new relationship. This took so many unexpected turns that I kind of loved it. I have no idea what I was expecting from a book titled Rich Prick, but Blaise is only a jerk to other people. He’s loving and loyal, hooked around Aspen’s little finger from almost the start. Honestly, the level of instalove here is one of the things that almost made me drop my rating. It’s… yeah, it’s absolutely instalove. There’s no slow burn here, no tension over these two getting together. It all happens at lightning speed. But while I do have a couple of issues with Blaise dropping his steady hookup girl like she’s on fire and moving on with Aspen almost immediately, I also kind of loved how the focus was on them dealing with their budding relationship. The other thing that almost held me back from calling this 5 stars? It’s not quite the standalone that I expected it to be; both of these characters have been introduced in previous books, there are countless characters from past books who play major roles, and I definitely felt like I was missing things at times. Not enough that I couldn’t follow along and enjoy the romance, but it came up countless times. I really loved the relationship, the jerk who isn’t so much of a jerk, the intimate moments, and the depth of the story. There is a little bit of triggering content, but it’s not the focus of the book. Ultimately, it’s a high school romance that feels incredibly mature in a lot of ways but also realistically juvenile in others. I received an ARC via Social Butterfly PR (then purchased it for my collection) and am voluntarily leaving a review of this heartfelt romance.

Perfection!! I cried, I swooned! This was perfection!
This book is Unpredictable, Unputdownable and Unforgettable.Tijan is one of my favorite go to authors. I darn near drop life when she has a book coming and immediately sign up to participate in everything for it! Rich Prick was just EVERYTHING! I couldn’t have even imagined that I would feel the way I did when I was finished, but I do. But I most definitely will probably go back to this book for a reread. It was that good. Blaise and Aspen’s journey is like no others. It’s heartbreaking and devastating and they each have their own demons to slay. Tijan captures every emotion in such real and relatable ways you can’t help but to be swept away into this emotionally gripping and phenomenal story. that isBlaise’s character starts off as this gorgeous popular guy who’s pretty much a jerk to everyone and could have any girl he wants, and I mean anyone! We first met Blaise in Crew Princess when the bomb was dropped that he has some familial ties to some of our favorite crew members.( not gonna say who just in case you haven’t read Crew Princess.) But Blaise is still struggling with this information as well as some other traumatic stuff from way back. These things most definitely make my heart break for him and I start to see him in a completely different light. So many questions about why he’s the way he is are so much more understandable. When he first noticed that he had clearly caught Aspen’s eye, it was quite comical and awkward. Only she didn’t know he had seen her. When they do meet face to face he is quickly drawn to her.Aspen is a lonely beautiful girl. She’s brilliant and loved to be alone by choice. She prefers to campIn the woods rather than go to parties. But she has always noticed Blaise. She has endured a tragedy that is devastating and she is dealing with it alone. When Blaise blazes into life she is no longer alone.Told in dual POV which I floved BTW! It gave us such a look inside the heads of these complex characters and frankly made me love them even more. Y’all these characters though both flawed and damaged by their past made them imperfect, together they were imperfectly perfect! They each had the ability to help the other find the strength, Hope, and the desire to move on from the past hurts and to heal. They emotionally encouraged each other and did whatever was necessary to be what each other needed. Their journey was epic. It was not easy by any means but they grew both as individuals which made for a stronger foundation for them as a couple. While this is a standalone book. If you want a more in depth understanding of the relationship issues between Blaise and his siblings. You should check out Crew Princess. Aspen’s brother Nate can be found in the Fallen Crest High Series. My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️- This book hit me in the feels, y’all. These two had had so much to deal with in their young lives. I’m so glad they found each other. The secondary characters from Crew Princess were amazing addions! I just love them and was so happy to get more from them.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥- SMOKIN HOTT!! Perfection in every way.🌪Cliffhanger Warning-No cliffhanger! HEA

Massive Hit!!!
Ah my, the wonderfully wicked Tijan has done it again! Another massive hit with me. I've become a Fallen Crest junkie, and any book that's associated with it has to be read. Truthfully, every Tijan book has to be read!I didn't look at the blurb for this book, I love to just dive into Tijan's books blind, and see where she takes meHere we have Aspen, the girl who wants to be invisible. And Blaise, the rich prick himself! Aspen is Nate's sister, and Blaise is Cross' brother. So we know who both of those characters are and it was time to become acquainted with their siblings.Aspen kind of stays apart from people, hopes they don't find out who her brother or parents are, and just wants to finish school in peace. Little does she know that the new kid, the rich prick, Blaise, is going to take a shine to her and do all he can to win her over.We have our usual crazy, wild parties, jocks, and of course the hierarchy and their hangers-on. Lots of shenanigans happen, threats, fights, fun, humour...and a touch of voyeurism just to mix it up a bit! While this can be read as a standalone, I really think you need to have read the Fallen Crest series to fully appreciate this book.

Winner Winner
Full disclosure- I was disappointed when I found out this book was related to the Crew series. Nothing against that series, but Tijan‘a strongest books to this point have been her stand alones. I didn’t think this would come close to Ryan’s Bed- my ultimate favourite Tijan novel- but it did.Don’t expect anything Cross and Bren like when you read this. Blaise and Aspen were so much more as characters. Both had been through so much and that backstory is such a huge part of this novel which isn’t easy to read at times but is also a fact of life for too many and I congratulate Tijan for handling both situations with care and with showing a male getting help for his anger issues. The character arc in this story for both Blaise and Aspen makes this story for me. The starting point for both- alone, dealing with serious dealings and trauma to basically winning at life and love was a beautiful thing to read and experience.I’m so glad I gave this book a chance. It surprised me, and I think it might surprise others. Definitely in the top 3 of Tijan’s strongest novels.

A Damaged Boy & Girl Meet & Catch All The Feels!!😍🔥💘💥
A Wonderful Angsty & Emotive 4.5 Star Read 🌟Rich PrickBlaise is the new God on Campus at Fallen Crest Academy. He's supremely hot, rich & full of swagger.😍 What most people don't know is he's also supremely screwed up by his childhood & the newest revelations in his life.💔 His Dad isn't his Dad, his bio Dad only just found out about him a few months ago & Blaise discovered then he also has twin siblings, Cross & Taz!!😲 He's livid ... With everyone.😡Aspen is the quiet, invisible girl. She likes it that way. She loves going camping on her own. She's finishing her tests early so she can avoid most of the last two weeks of school & graduation altogether!!🙈 She hasn't even told her Parents when it is, they're busy anyway. The only thing she'll miss is seeing her crush around school, Blaise.💋💝 Although that's embarrassing after he caught her watching him get a happy ending, he was so hot though, she couldn't peel her eyes away!🙈🔥These two actually connect because he realises she has issues, many of them, and it makes him feel protective of her. Finding out he has a sister may have changed him more than he's prepared to admit!👍 Then he realises she's easy to talk to, feisty, funny & doesn't judge his damage but will call him on his bull!🙏 Plus they're hot for one another.😏🔥😍I thoroughly enjoyed 'Rich Prick' and being back in Fallen Crest.😍 We see a completely different side to the vile Zeke that we've met in the Crew books, thankfully. He's actually a decent guy who lost his way, but having his true best friend back has changed him!👍 This is an emotive & intelligent read, it's not dumbed down, even the violence it contains has reasons!😔 I loved how protective of each other this couple were, they were really sweet together.💘🔥😍 Now I'm gagging for the final Crew book to find out what the heck happened at the Frat Party!!😲💥 Oh, the epilogue's were fabulous too by the way.😀🙏😍Debbie, 1970, UK

This was the first Tijan book I didn’t love.
For me, I really enjoyed Blaise’s character; he was interesting, layered, and his story kept this book afloat. The issue for me was Aspen.Aspen was just an insipid wet character, who had no spunk or backbone. There is nothing singularly interesting about her. She wasn’t funny, she wasn’t witty, the only thing she had going for her was that she had legs like a model and was irritatingly naïve/shy. I am genuinely struggling to think of what the two main characters had in common bar fancying each other. There was a couple of mentions of her being an off the charts genius, hence her moving up a year in school, yet there was nothing about her that made me think she was anything other than a wishy washy silly teenager. I will admit, I sometimes scrolled forward during her parts, I was that bored with her.Thankfully, the secondary characters partly made up for such an insipid lead, but not enough to make me say I really enjoyed this book. This is the first Tijan book I’ve read that I’ve not wanted to immediately reread.

Oh wow
Tijan said stand-alone all I hear is “I want more” I absolutely loved this book. I want to know more and more. I feel like it could be a series. Tijan will give me the glare and I’d blow a kiss back, I’m sorry I have to put it there. But seriously thisbook was amazing. I loved every single minute of it.The best bit was seeing how aspen grew and grew. She has gone through so much, she was in darkness and alone. I could actually see it all in my head while reading this book, like a movie. Aspen is like a butterfly, starts out in a chrysalis and then blossoms once she feels safe and ready to leave that area.Blaise is rich, he doesn’t care showing it, he doesn’t care if it upsets you. He is honest and if that honesty hurts you then he’ll grab a Kleenex and wipe the tears away. He thought he was fine, he thought he could be the bad guy and have all the fun in the world with the girls but then he saw a girl in the woods watching him with a girl who was pleasuring him.He was intrigued and wanted to know more. Then he pushed his way into her life. But did he stay?? Did he run away or did she run away like she always does. This book, I could read again and again. There were so many moments of laughter that reminded me of mason and Logan. I was so happy to see some people that you will remember.
