This was a GORGEOUS costume. Well made, easily worth the money. Unfortunately, I needed something I could move around in better. I am a psychic entertainer so traveling to and from events, sitting at tables reading cards during the Halloween season would NOT work with this hooped skirted, bulky beauty. The size was a little bit big too but I'm somewhere between a 1 and 2x and I read that it ran a bit small so I ordered the 3x. It fit it in the body well enough to not have to make alterations, but the length was crazy - I'm only 5'4" and it would be long on someone 6' tall! I felt bad having to send it back because I really liked it, but even without attaching the hoops in the skirt it was just a too much costume to deal with. Just think about the environment you'll be in and if there's a lot of room and you won't be smacking into things with this wide skirt or sitting all night it's really worth every penny!

The item came in fairly quickly and was in great shape. I ordered a large size and it turned out it was too big. I chose to have minor alterations made rather than send it back and try again. Yes, the wire for the hoop will twist, giving the skirt a ridiculous look but here is how you fix it-1. Insert the wire2. With assistance from another person (or two), turn the skirt over and have the other person(s) hold it in a circle.3. Using very good tape, tape the wire to the joining sleeve that connects the two ends so that the wire cannot twist.This worked for me and the skirt was beautiful. The choker was perfect and the crown was not squished. the collar stands up a little but after using some spray starch, worked as in the photo.So, overall, the costume was not absolutely perfect right away but with just a little effort, it became so.

I'm 5'8" tall & a 2x/3x size with larger bottom than top. I had to cut off the sleeves at the poof elbow & move the lace from the wrist up to the elbow because the arms were very tight as all the other reviews suggested. The lace wasn't long enough but it wasn't noticed because I left it open under the arm. If you have very skinny fore arms then it will work but will still be a little long. The dress was a little long. I wore flats for comfort but still managable & looked great. With a heel it would be fine. The heart neckline flattened my chest but would have been perfect on a D cup person. The collar didn't stand up but the dress was still beautiful & made a statement. The petticoat wire had to be inserted to make it stand out but if you keep the wire straight it went in just fine. After the few arm adjustments/alterations the dress looked beautiful to everyone who didn't know all the trouble that I went to in making it work. It's easy to put on with back zipper access. I loved the dress!! But remember It's very wide so hard to move around & need a lot of room for dancing.

This costume was a bust! The headband was in pieces when I took it out of the package. The dress seemed well made, but the sleeves were several inches too long, not a problem I have ever encountered with clothing. The price led me to expect the best, $143.00 on sale, is a lot for a costume. Service was great, I was able to return for a refund.

I am 5'5" and still need to hem it, but as a costume goes, I knew to get two sizes bigger than what I wear in street clothes, so I got a size 3X and it fits with room to move around comfy. I am an activity director and I also have personal parties so I am savvy to order larger for functioning and am realistic- "costumes" are not street clothes. Love the colors and the style although it, of course, lays flat during shipping (but came in a zipper bag to keep it from wrinkling severely) and again I know enough to take it out, try it on for fit and movement then hang it in advance to lessen wrinkles (I just hang it up in the bathroom so the steam from the shower takes out all the wrinkles). I will be smashing in it for my annual Halloween Party!!!! I originally purchased this for my daughter for her role as the Q of hearts. She's a plus size girl and I was excited to find a costume she liked in her size. When the product arrived the only disappointment was the quality of the Crown that is included. The dress fit perfectly. However once dress rehearsal began that's when the nightmare began. The zipper is plastic and with the movement and the fit, it just split. There is very little give in the construction so repairing was out of the question because there isn't enough material. Safety pins and sewing her into the dress had to hold her in for opening night. Because the material doesn't breath well she sweated profusely and it was necessary to wash the dress. I followed the instructions for washing. hand Wash Cycle with cold water and hung dry....the dress shrunk a few inches.Don't get me wrong, the dress is beautiful and the material and craftsmanship is probably okay for the average size person,but when constructing a plus sized version, some additional thought is needed especially for a dress that costs $150. It's not worth that.With all that went wrong...she was beautiful and the best Queen of hearts

This costume was fantastic and I was even more pleased when it arrived and I saw that it was made as well as described. I received MANY compliments while wearing this costume all day and evening on Halloween. The only negative for me was where the bell sleeve stops and becomes a tight sleeve. That portion cut into my arm some and I ended up snipping into it a bit to loosen it. That would be better if elasticized for a little more give. This is the only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars.

I purchased this costume for my niece's Alice in Wonderland themed party. As the other reviews mentioned, the costume runs small - so order a size larger than you normally wear. It is somewhat lowcut, so I may need to improvise a bit, but I don't think that will be a big deal. The collar on the costume I received does stand up (as in the picture) so I'm not sure why it didn't for the other reviewer. I'm 5'6", and the dress is just a little long if I wear flats.

Me lo chulearon muchisimo, fue un hitazo. Le pondria 5 estrellas con la excepcion de:La corona esta horrible, inusable, de plano pedi otraLo pedi una talla mas grande (salia mas barato) y si me quedo gigante, con excepción de donde termina lo bombacho de la manga, me apreto muchisimo. Si me quedó, pero al final del dia me lo queria arrancar era algo insoportable. Aclaro, lo use todo el dia, yo creo que para un ratito no molestaria tanto.

I love it! I ordered it for a costume party this coming October and I think it'll win first place!It seems to be flawlessly made. I ordered according to the size chart and it fits perfectly. I can't speak to the service of InCharacter Costumes, since this is not the shop I ordered from. I did order it from Amazon.ca, just not this shop. For some reason the 'review this product' link comes to this one? However, the shop I did order from, NawtyFox, surpassed my expectations for price ($50 cheaper) and delivery date (arrived 10 days earlier than expected!). I'm going to try to steam a few wrinkles out since it came packaged in a garment bag inside a 22" x 19" plastic envelope, but overall, I am really pleased with this purchase.

this is an absolutely stunningly gorgeous costume. my daughter adores it this is my absolute favourite one of all the ones we have boughten so far.

The costume itself fit for the most part as I bought one size bigger than normal except for the length and the arms. They were way to tight. Like someone else already said plus size costume with Extra small sleeves. Had to return it unfortunately.

This costume is extremely well made and it is absolutely beautiful. The only issue for me is the collar...it does not stand as shown in the pic but a little bit of starch will fix that. Otherwise, it is a quality costume and is as pretty as the picture.
