Certified NTEP 5000lb/1lb 48x48 Legal For Trade Floor Scale with Indicator

This is our second scale of this same type, size and configuration. The first one, bought from a different vendor over 10 years ago finally became eradicate and could not be repaired. We chose this scale because it compared so closely to our last one and indeed it does. It works quite well right out of the box and is very accurate. It is exactly what we wanted. However, this vendor is a bear to work with for service, answering questions and providing general customer support. We used a thermal label printer with the old scale but of course it did not pair with the new scale. This vendor was maddeningly difficult to reach by voice and only sluggishly responsive to email. Their call tree is inoperative, the girl that answers calls is slow to assist and those that are supposed to be on hand to take technical calls keep strange work hours and are very quick to dismiss your issue as someone else's problem. To be fair, we did finally receive assistance but it took far too much time and was so very frustrating. We've had worse customer service but this ranks very close to the top in regards to poor performance. These same scales are available from several other vendors (they are a common import product from China) and I would strongly urge anyone needing scales such a this type to seek out another vendor.

Hello,This scale works well. It is easy to set up, and all I had to do was plug in the control box to the scale once it was unloaded and off the shipping pallet. Simple, simple, simple. I am very happy with how fast it reads after I put a pallet on the platform. It has no drift. I didn't need the the operators manual for bin weights, but it looks like you can do a lot more with a printer and other functions.It should be noted the manufacture sends the scale out in two boxes, one general freight, ( it takes 2 - 4 people to move) and this arrived about two days post the promised date. The control box is sent out via USPS. I had one email to the seller about the location of the control box, and they were prompt ( about a 2 hour response) and helpful, giving me the tracking number telling me the box was at the post office waiting for a signature.I am happy with the unit after weighing many bins of grapes, and would purchase this item again.

Shipping was a little slow (5 days) but nothing to really complain about. Scale came packaged nicely but was not accurate in calibration. Easy fix. Great scale for the money

Quite happy. It came in promptly and was certified with no problem. It was exact at 500# and was within a pound at 1000#

This is a great scale! We just had it cleared by the USDA weights and measures and it passed with flying colors right out of the box! Great deal
