My daughter said this is her favorite jazz shoe as she can turn really well without breaking it in. It has the right amount of grip and slip. It does seem to run small so sizing up may be beneficial.

My daughter loves Bloch dance shoes. They fit her long narrow-at-the-heel feet so much better than any other brand. She has been dancing for 10 years and this is our go-to jazz shoe. They hold up for at least 1 whole season and are perfect for competitions and performances. Also, very happy with the price.

I originally bought my current shoe size and should have read the suggestion of buying 1/2 to 1 size up. I sent back the original size and ordered 1/2 size up. Still a little short but are ok. The leather is nice and I particularly like that it has a non rubber sole. We practice sometimes on carpeted floors and this allow us to make turns and spin without the soles catching. It also works well on hardwood floors. The leather upper is very soft and since I have a narrow foot, I ordered narrow. The narrow fits quite well. I would recommend this shoe.

So we received the 9N and it was also TOO Small!!!! Does Bloch think that narrow feet are also short??! Completely ridiculous that the sizing is this different. Feel badly for Amazon, not their fault, but they are losing money on shipping back and forth!These are fine jazz shoes, but my daughter who normally wears, AND measures a size 7.5N tried these on in an 8N and they were too small... so small in fact, we are going to buy a 9N... Is it really that hard to make shoes in one standard sizing???? Would save everyone time and money! I do appreciate the fact that Bloch makes narrow sizes though!

Bought these for my daughter dance class, 10/10! She is a size 2.5 for children’s and I got a 5.5 in size and they fit like a glove with a tad bit of movement in them! Good material and reasonable pricing!

These are much more comfortable and well made than the cheaper ones I tried, so 5 stars. But am exchanging for a full size bigger—these were only half-size bigger.

My daughter dances 4-8 hours during the week and is on the competitive team. She wears an adult size 8 consistently in converse, sandals, boots and she did need the size 9. We tried 8.5 and 9.5 also and returned them successfully. The shoes are good quality as they have just enough stretch and as new they did not hurt her feet. It is pricey and worth it because she wears them so much.

so soft, cozy and pliable. nice soft leather and elastic comfortably hugs my feet and arches. at 76 I am no dancer, but have found I can even wear these out and about in dry weather, the soles are tougher than I imagined. they look so good with black socks and pants - make my feet look tiny. my normal street shoe size is 7.5 - 8 wide. because these were an irresistable 'warehouse price' I bought the size 9 and got lucky - a perfect fit! so I would say size up 1 to 1.5 sizes, and watch the warehouse!

I bought these in a pinch for an Alumni reunion. Great, comfortable shoe for folk dancing-- and other genres as well, I'm sure! Definitely SIZE UP A FULL SIZE from your street size as suggested in other reviews.

The product came as described but the sellers have no idea how Bloch sizing works. Ordered a 39, it says 39 on a sticker on the plastic bag but inside the shoe it is printed 8, which corresponds to a 38.5, according to the bloch website. These are not UK or US sizes, they are BLOCH sozes. Please check the website first!

très belle qualité mais veillez a prendre la pointure au dessus si vous êtes entre 2 pointure , je fais un 35 et je recommande la pointure au dessus car chausse assez petit .
