Q: Are you supposed to open the packet or does that decrease the value?

If you don't have that much experience buying packs of cards and opening them, and having knowledge of the basketball players in the late 80s and early 90s, then I would recommend going on the forums online and/or go to a legit baseball card shop for advice. They will tell you on what they look for on card breaks and how to protect your cards. I look for valuable cards within the packs, but I also like to create subsets within an album like all the players on my favorite team or all the all star cards for that year and so on. Years like the 1986 basketball Fleer, the cards are really valuable that you do need to think about whether or not to open them. Do you want a 5k-50k or higher Michael Jordan card that you will need the responsibility to store, protect, and show? If not, you can sell it.

That’s a tough question! I can’t return something that never came! But I would sure try to track it somehow! If comes with a tracking number would be the only way! Try to find where it went?
