I have a Pentair Ultratemp heat pump model # 460965 that would not respond to pushing increase and decrease temp buttons. I was fairly certain that the motherboard was working fine because if I repeatedly pressed the up temp button it would eventually change temps. So, I searched for the control panel (membrane) and saw this aftermarket version for less money. I read the reviews and a few had commented that the cable was too short. I did not find that to be the case. Mine plugged in beautifully with no needed modifications and the heat pump is working great. Wife's happy !!

I don't typically write reviews but I felt it necessary to give these guys some props. It would have cost me over $400 to replace the entire control board on my Pentair Pool Heater, but Insync figured out a way to produce a solution for a fraction of the cost... They saw a problem and they designed a product to fix it. Love it! Took me about 15 minutes to install. The only area for improvement I could think of is to make YouTube installation videos. I could see where some less technically inclined consumers might get a bit bogged down by the written instructions.

Total garbage. A fraud, scam, ripoff. This is a mere sticker worth $3, not a viable heat pump part as described. $89 waste.

Pentair wanted to sell me an entire brain board for around $470; all I needed was the keypad which had been damaged by the elements (Coastal Florida weather is hard on outdoor equipment). Thankfully INSYNC sells just the keypad. I saved over $400 by ordering and self-installing this keypad.

Just want to say thanks for making this! Saved me tons of money and could not have been simpler to install. If your buttons stop responding this is your fix. The pool people tried to replace the entire $450 unit but I took a chance buying this membrane….this is no scam but honestly a cool product..shipping was super fast…I cannot believe doing it this way is not more popular

Worked exactly as advertised first time.

This product was defective, packaging was laughable, and the customer service are a bunch of bullies. Stay away of this company, if you can call it that.

My UltraTemp’s button to lower the temp setting wasn’t working. I could only increase the set temp… so this was problematic.A factory replacement for the whole unit would have cost me $500+.1) Turn power off.2) Remove exterior access panel screws3) remove 4 screws holding board in place.4) lean board out and snap a photo of ribbon placement just in case.5) unplug all ribbons and take board to better location to work.6) remove 4 screws holding circuit board to the plastic frame and carefully set the circuit board to the side.7) carefully peel the old control board off the black plastic frame and discard- it’ll be hopelessly ruined.8) On the new control panel, Peel the 3m backing off the adhesive, carefully holding onto the side edges.9) Carefully feed the replacement panel’s ribbon through the slot in the plastic frame and press the bottom two corners against the frame in their proper alignment. Carefully lay the rest of the board onto the frame, being sure the ribbon is pulled through to the backside as you’re going.10) Reassemble.We’ll see what the durability is like, but for $100 I am not complaining. Seems to be exactly what I needed for unresponsive panel buttons.
