I've used standard styluses before and the pens with a stylus on the opposite end for years but never really been attached enough to one to recommend it.My wife recently got an ipad with apple pencil and after seeing how it was so helpful to have a full sized pen i decided to get one for myself for my phone and my surface pro 4.I love that this has 2 different types of tips on it. One side works much better for clicking or tapping on screen buttons, the other works significantly better for drawing, tracing or dragging with very good precision. You can flip the cap around to either side so it screws on and it has extra tips for replacements if needed. It also is not an active stylus so it keeps working while thay pesky apple pencil has to be chaged constantly.I really like it and have used it quite a bit. It just takes a bit of remebering to grab it and use it over my fingers, but it is much more accurate than my big thumbs.

Certified Surface PenThis review is for Capacitive Stylus but I will provide the overall comparison with the others, you can see my other reviews under the other 2 products reviewMy husband bought me the Bamboo pen a while back, it is a pricey pen and I lost it during our road trip.So he bought me another one and this time is a refurbished one LOLThen I lost it at home and couldn’t find it. I felt so guilty so I told him don’t buy me another one yet.So when I saw this stylus listing I thought why not give it a try. I realize that I won’t be able to do as much things as I can with my Bamboo. I use my Bamboo mostly for my art and drawing, I can do as much with this stylus.I had plenty of stylus before and most of them are not so well made. They broke very easily as well. This one is very solid and has a great weight on it. It made of aluminum body with rubber grip and comes in 2 type of tips. 3 precision clear discs and 2 hybrid fiber knit.Since there is no app or battery to function, there is no lag what so ever.I can still do basic drawing just not as detail as with my Bamboo.To be honest I didn’t have much expectation with this stylus, I got so spoiled with my Bamboo, but this is a great stylus, and other things that I like, this works with all our touch screen devices (my husband laptop, kindle, phone, etc). Since my laptop is the only one that has pen and 10 points touch support.

I looked at a ton of different stylus’s before I settled on this one. I have an older iPad and it won’t use the Apple Pencil. I wanted something that was similar but most importantly had a fine tip not just a wide point. I was a little skeptical about this style with the clear circle on the point but after using it I think it’s easier to use than a pointed stylus without the circle. The feedback is spot on, and you can look through the circle to get really clean edges if you’re drawing especially. There is no need to charge this because it’s just a stylus but the screw in cap can switch between both ends depending on which one is not in use. This is really handy for not breaking the fine point and not losing the cap. The package also came with several additional tips to swap out if one gets broken. I have been using this for a free weeks now and absolutely love it! Great choice!!

PositivesAppears to be precisely made of best quality materials (metal screw on caps mesh perfectly onto metal threads). No deformities or misalignments; looks & feels great,At first, I loved this tool: Metal, so it has heft, & I believe, durability to the shaft. Terrific that it comes with replacement heads. Has a different type head on each end - 1. mesh "pillow" tip & 2. clear rigid disc, so I can see exactly where I'm contacting the screen. Heads screw on & off for easy replacement; there's a metal screw-on cap that comes over the disc end during shipping, but also screws onto other end so it doesn't get lost. There's grippy silicone(?) finger grip for using the disc end. All good, right?NegativesI bought this for the disc head because I use a couple apps that have small icons near the edge of the screen & it was hard to hit them with my fingertip. Unfortunately, the disc is flat & rigid, but the edge of the phone screen is curved, so it often takes a few swipes to hit the icon. Disappointing & sometimes frustrating, but better than nothing. If that were all, I'd rate this 4 STARS, but. . .Yesterday, I left off to use the bathroom & when I came back, the black screen in bright PM light was clearly COVERED in scratches. These are not carelessness or abuse damage (throwing into a bag & jostling all day): The scratches are 90% straight lines up & down from me scrolling long lists. The scratches are deep enough that I can feel them running my finger side to side.I've been using the mesh tip because the disc head is attached by a thin "silicone"(?) stick, like mechanical pencil lead & I was afraid of it not being durable. But it seems the mesh head is damaging my screen with every stroke.I'm going to use the disc head only going forward, so 1/2 the value is kaput, not to mention the damage already committed; hence 2 STARS overall.

Looks and feels nice, like it has a fancy vibe to it. You can feel the good quality of the materials when you hold it.OK, now, my phone has a screen protector so sometimes the pen needs a little too much pressure for the phone to actually feel it, but again, MY PHONE HAS A SCREEN PROTECTOR so it's my particular case. Without it the pens runs smooth and precise, so writing and even tracing and coloring (no pressure sensitivity of course) should be no problem at all.Overall, I'm really happy with what I got for what I paid.
